Most diverse school. Really good cultural representation. They sell different foods depending on the day. Campus has been cleaned up recently and looks nice. Ms.Ditto (new principal) is very nice and interactive with students.

I overall hate this school, experience here is terrible. The teachers dont bother the students who dont do nothing at all. Students here have sex and also dont behave everyone here is so immature and disrespectful towards each other. The staff somewhat are mean and Teachers dont get me started rude as heck. Main office the lady isnt so nice and so what useful this school. in reality just sucks overall. its just sad to say this. and if you are looking towards a good school. this isnt the good option to choose Im just saying facts.

My daughter visited Silverado High school one day she said the School Principal was making fun of a disable worker at school. Showing the staff how he walked. Who does that? Very stupid!! The principal is a mentor a leader to these kids. Even this old lady receptionist at the office, very mean looking old lady she needs to quit, stay home and enjoy life😁

My opinion from what Ive seen so far.Im a freshman at this school, 2017 class year 2021I suggest no to take any computer classes or the photography class. The teacher doesnt know what shes doing my opinion and i find can be a bit annoying but nice. She doesnt explain things correctly. The class shouldnt be called photography it should be called Photoshop in my opinion.

This school had been fun and very helpful and the teachers here help out a lot.

A teacher by the name of Mr. Lawson. Picks and chooses who to teach and who to care about. About half the class was hated on and nearly everyone in there hated him(some didnt have a relationship with Lawson and still hated him). Except for his favorites. There is a number of occasions where Mr. Lawson singled me out in the class despite me being a A+ student(the problems this caused ruined my freshman year of High school). He hated me. And if any of his favorites blame anything on me I would take the blame. They stole some stuff off his desk. I got blamed and that class caused me a number of problems outside of school. I told the counseling and that didnt help at all. They didnt do anything. The only staff member I trust would be The Dean. That person was awesome and overall helped me through a year of hell I dont even think that person knows how much of an impact they made on me. Anyway, love the Dean, some of the students were cool people, dont trust the staff. The freshman studies teacher is awesome as well. That would be my 2 cents

I worked at Silverado for a year as a special education teacher. I got no support from most of the staff and the administration. They were rude, unhelpful, would mock me behind my back and denigrate me to my face. The vice principal who supervised me would say age discriminatory things to me behind closed doors like, Dont you think you want to retire now? It was teacher hell. Parents were allowed to scream at me in meetings for more than an hour without allowing me to even talk. My supervisor was present and would do nothing to stop it. I am a good teacher and did not deserve the treatment I received there. If you are thinking of moving from another state to Nevada to teach, do not work at this school.

You know old old people always say youre going to miss highschool so much. Youre going to want to go back? Yeah, this school showed how much old people lie.

This school is straight garbage. ALL THAT IS THERE ARE DRUGS, and the teachers are do not care about you or your grades. Worst school ive ever enrolled into. Half the kids drop out and nobody even cares lol. I could go on and on why this school is straight trashh

Mr.lawson is so rude to me and my peers even the ones who do well and participate hes always cussing us out and he just put the class stuff on the board. Mr. Derwin Lawson always pulls random students out and is always putting them down and me and a few peers are fed up with him and he dosent teach us anything and also purposefully takes out our exams and classwork gives a F even though we have proof and time stamps of us doing it but yet he doesnt wanna change it just we just wanted to bring this situation to light because many of us dont want to take the effort for this.

The stuff is lazy they dont check the bathroom often and thats why I witnessed too many inappropriate things like drug dealing and having sexual intercourse

Went here when I was a sophomore in 2010 And got in trouble twice when I was here and I graduated from here than found out I had to come back so i was here from Aug. of 2010 to 2014 and this school sucks most of the teachers dont really do crap here and the office doesnt help you that much
