I am so grateful for my experience with this driving school! I came in with a lot of driving anxiety but Ms. Margaret was a great instructor. She was very patient and you can tell she cares deeply about her students. I also took the classroom training with Frank Fopiano and he was just as wonderful. Northwest Driving School is such an amazing organization that their instructors and teachers stand behind. It feels good to say that I passed my drivers test this past week! I highly recommend this school if you have any doubts or anxieties when driving. Thank you!

My instructor was Margaret Estrada and she is truly amazing! I have come so far from when I started and when I finished my course with her. She is very patient and really wants for you to learn and improve. All the feedback during and after my lessons were very helpful in improving my driving skills. Where do I even begin?! Amber is AMAZING. Best instructor I’ve ever had. If you want to enjoy your learning experience i recommend her! She is so kind and easy to talk to. She was able to teach me while also making me feel comfortable and confident about myself. While talking to her it had felt like she was just a friend teaching me how to drive. I have severe anxiety and while with her i was completely calm and confident. Every other time I’ve driven I would have shaky hands and today I didn’t and I felt so comfortable which is huge! She is so kind and she teaches so well. I would definitely get lessons from amber again. She let me know at the end what to work on and I feel like now I can easily practice and get better and pass my driving test. I left my lesson so excited and happy to talk about it. If you need to pass your drivers test, THIS IS THE SCHOOL! As a student driver, I took 18 hours of behind-the-wheel lessons with a different driving school, and was left feeling clueless. With a SINGLE two hour session with an instructor at Northwest, I was able to feel secure in my driving and understand techniques that both kept me safe and helped me practice defensive driving easily. I can not express how grateful I am to have found them.

Instructor Frankie Fopiano is an amazing instructor. He improved my driving by 10 fold. I had bad anxiety while driving before my lessons, and I am not afraid to drive after he has given me the confidence to drive. 10/10 recommend.

Margaret helped me go from being too afraid to move the wheel to driving on roads on the first day. She’s down to earth, but she also helped push me forward too, especially when I was nervous. Now I feel confident I can get on the road and get used to driving. I’ve driven further than I thought possible so thank you.

Let me just say this first, when I was younger I was in a horrible car accident - I didn’t drive for 10 years + because I told myself I would never drive again. You can’t really do that here in Vegas. I had to get back behind the wheel, so I looked on google and saw this school and randomly picked out an instructor and signed up.I took my exam today and passed, ON MY FIRST TRY.James was a great instructor all the tips and perspective he gave me was invaluable. So thank you to him.I would recommend this school ten times over.

Had a great experience. Everyone is so tolerant, patient and friendly. I had Jim and Frankie as my instructor and they were grand. Im someone who has a couple learning disabilities and they worked so well with that. And after 3 attempt I FINALLY HAVE A LICENSE

Margaret was a phenomenal instructor, truly cares for her students and gives valuable information. I took 3 lessons with her and passed my license test on the first try! She makes the teaching environment extremely comfortable, safe, and accepting.

My daughter had an amazing experience at Northwest Driving School. The in person class helped make the rules of the road meaningful to her. She no longer felt overwhelmed with all the information and instead was confident enough to clarify rules for me! Her driving instructor, Frankie, did an amazing job of refining her driving skills. When she met with him, she had already driven about 100 hours, but the 6 hours of driving with a professional instructor were invaluable. She fixed up the little things shed been struggling with and gained a lot of confidence. When we went in to take her driving test, she was almost overly prepared. Even though she was nervous, there was no way she was going to fail. Northwest Driving School goes above and beyond to prepare new drivers for the road. We are definitely sending our next kid to them.

Our son completed the driver’s ed program with NDS, and it was an excellent, comprehensive course. The staff is very friendly and professional, and our son can’t say enough good things about his instructor, Frankie. Although the material was what one expects from a driver’s ed class, Frankie was tremendously engaging, interesting, positive, energetic, and an excellent instructor. My son said he really liked him and did the behind-the-wheel portion with him as well. The class covered all the material thoroughly, and they are given the written test at the end of the course. We did the 15/6 program; the price was very reasonable and definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this school to all teens; it is so much better than learning the material online. A real teacher in a real classroom is the best way for teens to learn the material thoroughly. Great customer service as well. * We attended this school in February; due to the shutdown, our son just took and passed his driver’s license test yesterday with flying colors. We highly recommend this driving school!

Margaret was my daughters instructor and she did an outstanding job. She worked with her on very important things that I wasnt even aware of. She followed through all the way up to my daughters drive test when we shared the good news with her (100%!)The company did a great job at preparing for the pandemic closures and reopenings. They equipped the cars with dividers and implemented sanitation and safety protocols to help keep my kid safe. That was much appreciated!

This Is The best driving school in Nevada hands down. It all starts with Rich and the class . He makes it fun and enjoyable for those 8 hours . He makes sure we understand everything and he makes us laugh while doing it . Then with the actual driving part I strongly strongly recommend STEVE HOGAN. He has a 3 year old himself so he cares for us and teaches us like we are his own. He makes sure you know everything like the back of your hand he is calm, awesome and funny my 6 hours of driving were the best because of him he not only prepared me for my test but he prepared me for the rest of my life while driving . When you sign up please choose him and I promise you your son or daughter will have a great time while learning the roads. I would give Steve a raise and 10 stars of possible. Because of him I’m calm and collected on the freeway and driving on the streets . When I pass my test it will definitely be because of him .

Northwest Driving School is the real deal, great driving school. Elizabeth Douglas is the best driving instructor I had while driving with them. She is very cool, calm, and encouraging for new drivers. If you have any questions their customer service is willing and able to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend checking with your car insurance provider to check if the driving certificate will help lower your insurance rates.

I actually enjoyed the driving instructor at Northwest Driving School that taught my driving lessons. He was very nice, friendly, caring and compassionate about every student and is available to answer questions.

It was my first time taking driving lessons, my instructor Steve was great and made driving very simple. He answered all of my questions, gave many useful tips, and made sure I got the most out of my driving lesson. I would definitely recommend this school.

I had Margaret as my instructor. I was a nervous driver and had no driving experience before coming here in the US but Margaret helped me a lot to feel calm when driving. She is a great instructor. When she gives instruction/command, it is brief but concise. It felt way different (in a good way) and better when I was having my driving lessons with her than just doing it with anybody (family, relatives, friends) who are not driving instructors or professionals. Frankie was very knowledgeable but was a rude and impatient.

I had to take drivers education (The 15/6 course, which is 15 hours in the classroom and 6 hours in the road) because I was under 18 and my dad made me. However, this school really gets you interested in the topics that are given to you and helps you understand the rules of the road and other things like that. In the classroom, the learning material was well taught and easy to understand. You can also learn new techniques such as ground scanning and how to take it easy on the brakes and gas pedal. Rich, my teacher, made the whole class enjoyable and fun to be in. On the road, my driving instructor instructor Margaret was really patient and helped me become confident in the road. The first time I was with her I was nervous but she really warms up on you the more you drive with her. She helped me with parallel parking, speed control, and how to relax on the road. Even though I would do something wrong she would encourage me and told me that Ill learn next time. She was really down to earth and shes really funny, while being a terrific teacher, because all of her instructions are easy to take in and do. Overall, I am pleased with the knowledge Ive learned from Northwest and recommend this to anyone who wants/needs to taking driving school. Probably the best school in Nevada in my opinion.

Choosing Northwest Driving school was one of the best decisions I have made. I had little practice and driving gave me bad anxiety, but after three 2 hour courses I did great. Before I took my driving lessons, I had driven a total of three hours beforehand. Those hours consisted of me driving around parking lots and in my neighborhood. I was too scared to go out onto the main streets, but Jim, my driving instructor, definitely helped me overcome that fear. Jim was a great person to be around, and had all of the patience in the world.

I had Margaret as my instructor and the lessons were great. The 15 hr classes were also great I learned a lot and I passed my drivers test.

This class was great for learning the rules of the road! It would be very informative for people who are about to take their permit test and is also a fantastic refresher for people who already have their permit and are going to get their license. Rich is super friendly and flexible with times. I feel confident to take my drivers test this week after the 2 driving sessions and 2 in class days. Overall the experience was a lot better than expected. It was very easy to understand the instructions given and made me feel safe while driving. Mr. Dennis was an amazing instructor who made the experience both fun and educational and I would highly recommend him.

It was an incredible experience, definitely I recommend this place. I have never driven in my life and Rich explained all the information in a very easy way that a few days later I got my permit. After that I started the driving classes with Maria and she is awesome. I felt super confident driving with her. She explained everything so easy that now I can drive in the highway!!

Being almost 21 and having zero driving experience, I was extremely nervous about going into driving school. I always had a fear of learning to drive, but my instructor Ramona was probably the best instructor I could’ve gotten. She was very friendly, helpful, patient and understanding. She made me feel super comfortable and less anxious, and whenever I messed up she just gave me feedback and encouraged me to keep going. The entire time we were talking and having a great time, it was such a fun experience. I only had 3 lessons but for having no experience at first, I made so much progress with her! I’d definitely recommend having Ramona as your instructor! :)

I did the 15-10 program which was wonderful. Margaret was my behind the wheels teacher and she is absolutely amazing. I started my lessons not knowing how to drive at all, but she taught me very well. I was able to get my license on the first test!

I was so scared to start driving at first. James Staley, someone I’m definitely never going to forget, he taught so much in just three lessons. My score went from a 17 to an 8 in just two days. I couldn’t thank him enough for teaching me how to drive. Not to mention he was very patient with me and my fears. I feel so much more confident in my driving and I’d recommend this program to anyone and everyone.

I had Margaret as my instructor and she was patient and informative when teaching me to drive. I am a very nervous person and I had a lot of anxiety when it came to driving. Margaret recognized it was very supportive and understanding. My first lesson I was visibly overwhelmed and she took me to the park to calm down for a few minutes, something I really needed. I took the 10 hour lesson with the driving test. Margaret was always early to pick me up. On the day of my test she took me for a little more practice and then it was time to face the test. I completed the test and was totally shocked that I passed (because of my anxiety and nervousness) but I did !!! With a 90%, I recommend Margaret for anyone learning to drive! I had previously used another school but it was nothing compared to northwest!

Jim was a great instructor, top class man and driver, hell tell you all the right stuff and show you what you need to know. What a blast!!

The first time I got a lesson, everything was fine. The second time, they came 25 minutes early, which was way too early. The third time, I booked an appointment online only to have them tell me that their system booked me at the same time with someone else and I needed to change it. After I rescheduled, the person came 40 minutes late. She told me that they gave her the wrong address and the wrong phone number. During my lesson, she was also on her phone at every red light. She was also supposed to bring my certificate that I completed 6 hours but she forgot and I had to call the school and I have to pick it up myself. I dont recommend Northwest Driving School to anyone.

I had a good time during the lessons and have become far more confident while driving. My driving instructor, Dennis Jantz, was very friendly and helpful during the lessons and was always on time to pick me up. I am very satisfied with my time at northwest driving school.

I learned a lot and had fun with Amber Ennis and I was able to ask any questions that I had and she answered them with good answers. I was taken on the courses that my drivers test would be on and so I was able to practice those and know what to expect. I also got to practice parallel parking at the DMV. It was a good experience and it was definitely worth it. I would recommend to others.

Worst driving school you can possobly go to. I know everyone is appreciative of getting there well planned lessons but the instructors dont follow any rules of the road in which they teach. They drive wrecklessly and unlawfully when they are not with students. If that is the type of instructor you wish to have then this place is definitely for you, otherwise, steer clear of those who dont practice what they preach.

I passed my driving test with a 92 because of Margaret! She was literally the best teacher I could of asked for, she let me make my mistakes and made me feel like it was okay to make them and it wasnt the end of the world. She was such a patient teacher and very funny. I also had 4 hours with Dennis, but I felt like I couldnt make any mistakes at all driving with him,he was very brake happy and always grabbed the wheel before I could really learn or drive myself. I just didnt feel all that comfortable honestly. He grabs the wheel too much and takes over to often. Also the first session with him we spent 30 minutes talking about how a car works inside and it wasnt something I cared at all to learn. I felt like it wasnt what I signed up for, i just wanted hands on experience.Where as Margaret only grabbed the wheel once during my 8 hours with her and only braked once and was straight to it and very kind. Im truly thankful and would recommend her to anyone! Thank you again.

I just moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and in the past my family tried giving me lessons but I was always too nervous.I took 2 classes with Lisa Gold and passed my drivers exam with 100%. She is honestly the best teacher that i have ever had, she is so calm and patient. I know, that I never would have passed without her. Therefore, if you are thinking of taking driving classes then I recommend it 100% and book your lessons with Lisa!!

I, honestly, wasnt sure if I would like it at all but my parents forced me to go and Im so thankful they did. I got over my intense fear of driving and the instructor for the class was super calm and knowledgeable about everything. I was put in a group with some awesome people and even made some new friends. This place is the best!

As an adult learner I was very nervous going into driving school. I was afraid of judgment and of the dreaded instructor that would yell at me. Northwest was nothing like I expected. Every single employee I met was kind and accommodating and would answer my questions, no matter how stupid they seemed. My driving instructor Elizabeth was the absolute BEST. I cannot stress enough how fun, informative, and memorable she made my behind the wheel instruction. I think we laughed more than anything and I learned more than I ever thought I would learn at a driving school with her. I am so grateful for Northwest driving school and am confident that I will be able to pass my driving test on the first try.

I took did 15-5 program and not only did I have a great time, but I learned so much in the 15 hours. The great thing is that Rich thoroughly explains what hes teaching and everything begins to make sense. In the 5 hours of driving Rich is very calm and relaxed, which really helps when you first start driving. I would recommend him to all my friends.

Everything about my experience with Northwest Driving School was a little bit off. I did one lesson with them and it felt a little bit like a scam. Afterwards I went to Nevada Drive Academy and it was SO much better.My weird experience started when I booked a 7am lesson but the instructor arrived at 6:30am. Texting me twice and knocking on my door. As I was expecting the lesson at 7am I wasnt even awake.During the lesson everything was fine, the instructor was nice but mostly chatted about other things, not my driving. I didnt really feel I was getting value for money. When we practiced parallel parking during the lesson, I was only taught how to line up with specific objects in the DMV parking lot. This is fine for passing the test but absolutely useless for parking anywhere else.With all the chatting the instructor had been doing during my lesson I was shocked at the end of the lesson when she said that, with the multiple things I was doing wrong, I would need at least 3 more lessons before taking my test. Some of these areas for improvement hadnt even been brought up during the lesson!I left the car feeling like she was using these final moments to make me book into more lessons than needed in order to earn herself more money. (Probably true as after doing only 1 lesson at another school I passed my test without any problems)Finally, when I checked the time after my lesson I realised that it was only 8:30am. The lesson didnt even run for 2 hours!Even though the experience had been a bit subpar, I did try to call them up to book to take the driving test with one of their vehicles. I called and left voice mails over a 2 month period. I never received a call back.

I just passed driving skills test earlier today gaining a score of 93%! Thanks to Northwest Driving School especially to Ms. Maria Hepler for contributing a lot to improve my driving skills, giving driving tips and for rendering so much patience on me. She makes my sessions fun! She always reminds me to stay calm and breathe :)I can operate a vehicle, been driving since I was 18 years old but its not on an everyday basis and cant drive all by myself. So, I signed up for a 6-hour behind-the-wheel driving for the reason that I have to get used to driving. Honestly speaking, there are things that driving school teaches you that your relatives (experienced drivers) may not relay to you. So, I think thats the advantage of enrolling to a driving school. Mr. Rich Mr.Rich MR. RICH!!!!!!! Is the best driving school instructor ever. He stayed calm which helped me stay calm. I enjoyed ever session. Im so happy I choice this school. I went from not knowing how to drive to beaming down the highway. Thank you so much Mr. Rich!!!!!

My instructor Dennis provided a very fun experience while teaching me many techniques of driving. I now feel ready to pass the test. yeehaw!

I am currently taking one of the programs and so far have found it very entertaining. it is exciting and fun to participate in the class. I have also learned many new things that I am likely to share with those I know. I would and will recommend this school to anyone who i looking to take a good driving class.

Warning to the public:I wanted to reach out to somebody that one of your driving instructors probably shouldn’t have his job anymore.Driving on highway 215 today at 3:15pm the man driving the Nissan Versa with the license plate NWDS 3 was driving 59mph in the far left lane in a 65mph zone. We were approaching behind him going the appropriate speed limit for the left lane when he refused to move over into the right lane (as slower traffic should), and then continued to flick us off for a solid two miles before we were forced to pass him in the right lane. As a driving instructor I am appalled at his actions and the way he presented himself on the road. I know now that I will never trust your drivers with my children and will be using a different service when my children reach that age. Please make your supervisor aware of the incident. Thank you.

I am very glad that I decided to go to this driving school. Mr. Rich made it sure to teach me everything I needed to learn about driving. Hes really a great instructor and a funny guy too. This is the best place for you!

Passed my drivers test with a 98% just by taking two sessions with Margaret Estrada! I highly suggest driving with her! She gives you tips on passing your test and for driving in general.

Ive learned A LOT from Northwest Driving School! Before I was nervous to drive, but now Im confident and will be taking my road test confident. The teaching style is great and so is the learning environment. Not only did I learn about driving, Ive met some new friends as well. Hands down the best driving school out there!

Ms. Margaret was the best instructor I could have asked for! My second permit was about to expire and she helped me become confident enough behind the wheel to pass my drivers test! I had always been afraid of driving and had put off taking my drivers test till the very last minute and she helped take that fear away.
