Hello my name is Dorret, I am a new and excited student here at Northwest career college. My first Mod started 06/07/202 Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, I was very nervous felt a little intimidated, many of you may be wondering why well simply because coming back to school after raising three children is a huge hurtle to jump. Not being certain if I would be able to accomplish my new career goals. But I must say the encouraging staffs here at NCC, theirs no way one should not accomplish their goals and become successful. I can remember my first day in class, how pleasant both my lab Instructors were Mr. Justin and Ms. Crissandra the assurance in their voices make you feel so comfortable in class. Our Zoom Instructor Mr. B and his Assistant Ms. P. You really felt as if though you were in an classroom setting his voice was so soothing, clamming, precise, strong and very much caring. Whenever we were in a zoom session majority of us didnt want to leave because they both was inspiring its just an amazing experience. My goodness the staff here at NCC are charismatic people awesome Ms. Maria the women at front desk who will greet you, beautiful smile helpful with whatever you need she will assist if she doesnt know trust me she will find someone for you. If you should have any problems with your laptop technical support Mr. Jacob is willing and ready to assist you great person. Ms. Nancy Immunization and CPR also if your having any problems with getting any of these done or documents she will find an alternative way to make sure you get the appropriate help for your NCC portfolio. No matter where you are on campus there is always a staff member somewhere to help or assist you with anything, whether it is related to your studies or personal. I absolutely love this school! The massage therapy program is amazing & the instructors really want to produce excellent licensed massage therapists! Studying for the licensing exam is tough, but i was given all the tools I needed to succeed! Program chair, Lance, does a great job & helps you understands the bigger picture. But he couldnt do it all without his amazing support staff, Aubrey is wow!, Helena & Bridget are personable, funny, & helpful. If any of them dont know an answer to a student or clients questin question, they will promptly find an answer. The People & communication make this place an easy dream!

It has been amazing meeting and working with Raphael Pizarro. He has extensive experience in his company, is competent, extremely resourceful, and is so optimistic. I highly suggest working with Mr. Pizarro to graduates that need guidance to start their career. He will definitely get you there.

Let me start off with i had the best teacher.I did the phlebotomy program here then covid hit and we had to do everything zoom but that didn’t stop us from coming together and getting partners to do our blood draws with the help of our teacher we made it. the staff as well did a good job at keeping us stocked on supplies so happy i chose this school.and will be going back to further my medical career.

When I chose to come back to Northwest career college I was very pleased to be noticed by Maria (SHESAMAZING!) as soon as I walked especially at the fact that I graduated from this school 8 years ago in Phlebotomy. Both Maria and Nancy knew exactly who I was when I walked in and was happy that I chose to come back again. I met with Hugo in admissions and he gave me the run down with everything I needed to know for school and gave me my best options for what program I should do and helped me what fit best with my needs and goals. On my first day I was showered with gifts and also received gifts for my children from the school which was very unexpected and appreciated. I decided to come back to pursue my career as a medical assistant and get my foot in the door. They were very understanding why I chose to come back and succeed in a different program. They have been very supportive along the way and more than helpful. I would mind coming for a third time just because of they way you get treated here. It really is like family here.

I was graduated Phlebotomy Technician here last March 2020, our teachers are nice actually all the staffs they’re very helpful and friendly.

I have been a student at Northwest Career College for 5 months now. I am so happy with my choice to attend school here. NCC is a very well organized college. I feel that they connect with you on a personal level. My instructors really care about your success in class. The people in the office is all very friendly especially NICOLE. They have so much resources for you. I recommend this college if you want to be successful in your Medical Career.

I chose this school because it wasnt too far from where I live. However, putting that aside, I am very glad I did choose it. With the course I chose I only have to attend class once a week for 3 hours, which is nice if you have a busy schedule with work or family. The rest of the work is done online. Also my instructors really try to make sure we understand the curriculum, and set us up to go out into the career field with a knowledge of what we are doing.

I started Northwest Career College a few months back. I really love the environment and the staff. I am in the Criminal Justice Program and to be honest it is really fun. The staff and professors are really nice. They are helpful with school stuff and personal stuff as well. Since the Covid 19 virus came about. The school transition to the Zoom platform. It is the same as regular class, just in the safety of your home. The teachers and classmates are there for you during this time. All my assignments and class discussions are the same. Overall it is a really fun experience!

I would be insane to say I was not over-whelmed with all the information and terminology , but I still have my Excitement and I am so grateful for this opportunity. Im so happy I decided to come here. My classes are informative and instructors are always ready to help. Everyone on campus wants you to succeed and does everything possible to make the process of enrolling and going through your program as easy as possible.

I am glad that I made the choice to attend Northwest because I am on my way to externship next month at a Pediatrics office, and I couldn’t be more excited! Northwest and the amazing teachers that I have taught me so many new things and I happy to have gotten the opportunity to now share it with the rest of the world. I think this school is amazing, when i first started school i was pregnant and unexpectedly i ended up having a early delivery but the school was able to help me and provide me with the materials needed to complete my courses. Even while we were in Covid-19 they were well prepared with making sure our semester started. The schooling has been the best I’ve ever had in all my time throughout my education. The staff particularly are extremely nice and caring to all the students coming in and out of the main building. I don’t remember one morning where the receptionist Maria didn’t go out of her way to talk to me or any of the other students, trying to brighten their day. Overall it’s a great school to attend.

Everybody at northwest Career college are super nice. As soon I step in, they made me feel I belong there. The process to enroll for my program (PhT) was very easy. And everybody is so helpful and knowledgeable.

Northwest Career College was such an amazing experience for me. I hear my friends telling me how college is a drag and how the professors dont really interact with the students. Northwest is nothing like that what so ever. I speak for the dental assistant department because thats the program I participated in. Nine months of schooling and I am now a registered dental assistant. The instructors get to know you and build a type of bond with you (if you take initiative to do so). They drill everything into your head and some even take the time out of their day to stay after class hours if you need the extra attention and or practice. Its not just the dental department thats so amazing, all of the staff honestly is. The instructors from other programs, the office administrators, and even the maintenance guy say good morning and Hi to you on your way in and out of class. Ms Maria has to be my favorite front desk admin by far. Always very helpful with my questions about payments I had to make and about upcoming events and what not. Me saying I highly recommend this school would be an understatement. If youre looking for a strong first step into the medical, dental or law field, Northwest Career College is the way to go.

I love this school!! Everyone here is so nice and accommodating! I love walking in and seeing all the smiling faces especially Maria at the front. She always says hello and asks how I am doing. I just started here in February for the massage therapy program. After waiting over a decade to get back into school Im so happy I chose NCC. They have years of experience in the field and can give you so many examples of things to learn about this field. I was anxious about going to college, but this school has been such a pleasure. I am receiving hands on training each class. I am thoroughly practicing my skills. I absolutely love this school! Half way through, I have just became a student lead and have remained over a 3.5 GPA. This would be so hard if we didnt have such amazing faculty and instructors that are there every step of the way. I love walking into Northwest because I know I’m going to get the most genuine lovely welcome. Not only does Maria welcome everyone with a big Disney smile she is always ready to help. Even if Maria is helping 5 other people she will happily assist you like you were the first and only person there. I’ve never seen someone multi task with so much ease. ❤️

The school itself looks very nice and I loved the woman giving the tour, very nice and personable. I was all set up and excited to start, willing to drive nearly an hour twice a week, even ready to hand over twice what other places charge to teach the same. One thing changed that for me, during orientation, it was mentioned that your appearance must be professional at all times, and professional does not include natural hairstyles such as dreadlocks! Now I do not have dreadlocks, nor do I anticipate having them, but I do have natural hair, and I feel like theres a fine line between acceptable/unacceptable natural hairstyles. Not so much about the style but its ethnic roots if you will. So if I were to slap on a fake, shake and go wig, thats considered more professional than a natural style? And why exactly are dreadlocks considered unprofessional? Ive seen doctors, nurses and dentists wearing them and they did a fine job. Also they nitpick about womens makeup, colors are unprofessional as well, including fingernail polish. I spend a lot of money on my eyeshadows and makeup, I will not have anyone telling me how I should look after dropping $4,000 for a three month class...in 2018.REPLY to Kenny: Thats obviously not true. Dreadlocks are considered a natural hairstyle and you have students sign the waiver that states dreads, specifically, are not allowed. I saw that with my own 2 eyes and questioned the woman who gave me the run down of the rules. So I do not understand why you deny this.

I currently attend northwest and I love it here. It is my second time here at Northwest and each time the staff and instructors have been welcoming and encouraging. I like that the programs provide you with hands on experience that prepares you for the career path you’re studying and the lectures break down what you are learning in your lab. That makes it easier to understand what exactly is to be expected.

Northwest was a great experience for me. I would say its the best school for medical assisting. The staff is great and super helpful. The instructors I had were amazing and had so much experience to learn from. I will miss the people I got to know here but Im glad I did and completed the program!

I currently work in the medical billing field and have students come to my company from northwest to finish their educational externship. I have always been impressed by they investment of their instructors and the knowledge students have compared to other similar schools. When it came time for a career change and I looked into massage therapy, the choice was obvious. Speaking to previous massage therapy students who have success in their field, I knew northwest would work hard to make my goals a priority. With every change and challenge the staff is there to listen, learn and assess as they understand learning from their students is what continues to make this a great school. Although working full time and going to school is a challenge, I am so impressed by all the resources this school offers on a personal level and I know I made the right choice!

I really enjoyed the program. All the teachers made learning fun and really made the information given sink into our heads. It was never a dull day in class, everyone was energetic, nice and super helpful. no one was rude or mean, we all helped each other to our best of our abilities. Instructors answered all our questions or concerns we had with ease. they helped us prepare for our externship and made sure we were ready. they offered after school or early morning help with anything we wanted to work on. overall i really really enjoyed the program and everyone in it.

Attending Northwest Career College was by far one of the best decisions that I have made in my life thus far. The faculty are all amazing, especially the Medical Assisting faculty. Our instructors are excellent, their personal experiences and education are off the charts. I knew that this was the place for me from the moment I met with Emerald and she took me on a tour of the school. I felt it in my heart and bones once I started school. I am forever grateful for my experience here, and love the fact that I will always be a part of the NCC Las Vegas family.

I didn’t know what to expect when i signed up for school again i was expecting it to be like high school all over again but then on my first day i was wrong the school was much better than high school the instructors are amazing and beyond helpful! They do not want you to fail they actually wanna see you succeed and be your best!! Everything is hands on training and you can graduate in as little as 7-8 months! Northwest Career College is one of the best colleges in southern Nevada and i totally recommend it! Call and schedule in appointment to get a free tour of the campus!

I recommend Northwest Career College, they are hands down the best school. I’ve attendend another school before this one for dental assisting and it is nothing compared to this one. They are hands on with everything and the instructors are everything and very knowledgeable. If you’re thinking about coming here, come here you’ll have the best experience ever.
