I have encountered many issues in my time at Cashman, but none of these are with the school, rather than the the students.Students in general are disrespectful to teachers, other students, and school property, but not all of them.And, I am struggling in my Algebra class because my teacher isn’t really teaching us. We just read the lessons and figure it out by ourselves online.However I am definitely learning a lot through the amazing AMSE program and love all my teachers, so if you’re looking for a great Academy of Math, Science, and Engineering this is the place.Also, the orchestra program is FABULOUS.But of course, the students here can be mean, but toughen up and you won’t even notice it.So overall, Cashman isn’t a terrible school. It’s not exactly clean or housing a kind student body, but I it :)

To be honest this school is not worth your time at all.The kids here are super trashy and the administrators are ridiculously mean.They also have tons of stupid rules like, you can’t stand up at lunch, they practically scream in your ear if you’re not sitting down.Which isn’t fair considering they don’t let us go outside during lunch, making us cramped in a lunch room with not a lot of tables, so sorry if I can’t find a seat!Also the teachers aren’t great at all!Most of them just hand you a worksheet about something they didn’t teach you and expect you to turn it in by the end of the period!No wonder all the students here are depressed! (me included)And if you’re thinking of coming to this school for the magnet program don’t!The magnet kids are just as stupid and idiotic as the zoned kids!The only difference is the magnet kids are pressurized way more than the zoned kids!In the end of the day this school is not worth any stars or anyone’s time!Don’t go to this school, there are tons of others that are way better than this hell hole!

This school deserves no dam stars, its by far the WORST SCHOOL in CLARK COUNTY...... Starting with the Dumb Principal, Vice Principal Mr Brown, to the idiot administrating staff, that constantly offend/yell our children and parents Including my self and lets not forget the uneducated teachers, like Mr. Uriel , math teacher Mr. Hoag, and English Mr. Dawson. If you want your kids to get bullied and not taught bring them here. These teachers are not interested in teaching our kids, all they care about is getting payed. Its just so sad that no one seems to care.

This school is awful. The restrooms are a mess theres water all over the floor in the cafeterias restroom. Some teachers are a pain in the ass , they dont know how to teach most of them dont like teaching they will just tell you to read the directions then the teachers will be on their phones most of the time. One of the & 7th grade English teachers gave me 3 Fs in the grade book just because i didnt have a partner in a play of Shakespeare . This school is wack. whenever you write incident reports the dean will just look at it . But whenever the teachers write a referral on us then the dean will RPC thats some bulls*** too be honest. DONT ENROLL YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL !!!!!!!!!!

Best school! It has one of the most top magnet programs. Yes it ghetto but, that doesnt change anything. Teachers are nice and so are counselors. And the orchestra is fantastic !;D (i would know) so stop hating on cashman because, it means a lot to some people.

Personally as a student, the school would give us hard material and expect us to know it by the ends of the week just like high school does in its classroom. But there are a few things I would like to say about Cashman Middle School.1) Bullying.Bullying happens a lot in the school Why do you think that there are many fights in the school? Because one person kept saying stuff about one another. No matter how many times people write bully reports, no one would respond or care.2) TeachersIn my experience,I have had a fair share of bad teachers. especially my science classes. In 7th grade science, I have learned NOTHING! I am pretty sure you know who I mean. I mean last year, our AMSE girls science class would constantly report our teacher about telling us about her personal life, religion, etc.. Its just really unhealthy for our classroom. What I like about the teachers are that they would give us life lessons.Cashman has pretty high standers. I am very impressed about the education that I have received. If you are looking to go to school that is rich with math, engineering, and science, than this school is a good school.P.S I gave my honest opinion, that is all that matters.

It could be better. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, and no joke a kid defecated in a hallway. Honestly, though, thats the students they come and go. The teachers and staff stay much longer than the student. One dean yells constantly and suspends for no reason. I have some great teachers, my 6th grade math, 7th history, 7th science. Then others like my 7th math which was god awful. Still could be better.

This school sucks I wouldnt recommend sending your child here because ur child will be suspended for the littlest things, tons of fight/threats here. School doesnt do anything till you say your sueing them then they will do something about the bullying, principal taton doesnt care about your child onlycareso about being pain and paying there empolyes. If I could give this school 0 stars I would. Ive had two decent teachers during my time here at Cashman Middle School. The rest were horrible. Kids are expected to learn something from the book, the notes that teachers give are weak and pointless, and the way the staff handles punishments are ridiculous. Kids are rpced for MEMES, face repercussions for the work of others, and are constantly made fun of by the teachers.Also, there are fights like every day. People are rowdy, the environment is just not suited to be considered a learning ground. And, the way this school handles the problems within its student body is just, to be frank, stupid. Kids are constantly bullied, and the teachers turn a blind eye to it. When kids report bullies, they never hear back from the administration. And, in all honesty many students dont feel safe in Cashman. Most kids feel as if theyre being restricted because of stupid rules. It isnt a nice growing environment.Also, some of the punishments are harsh. The people that handle problems arent fair and wont listen to your side of the story. For example, about tbout seven kids got rpced for MEMES. They didnt do anything. There were multiple fake and hate accounts posting negative things about the teacher, and the kids that got the punishment had little to do with it.This school is unfair, ghetto , and the staff isnt the best. I dont suggest sending your kids to this school. It might be the top magnet school in the nation, but it certainly doesnt live up to its title.

Worst school you can ever put your kids in. Do not let your kids attend this school! My son has an IEP plan that they refuse to follow. He is in special education which they say they are helping him but he will go to high school next year and still have trouble with multiplication and counting money. This is the worst school ever

These people called CPS on me because my son had a dark ring around his neck and they said it could be diabetes and suggested I take him to the doctor which I did and he didnt have any health issues so I seen no need to report anything and due to HIPPA laws I do not have to unless it affects his time at school which it didnt so instead of calling and asking me or asking him even if he had been checked out they called CPS on me and they had an open case on me for it which the worker even stated as ridicules and against the law as well.

Look people school is school you either like it or you dont and I love it here though I think that some zoned kids shouldnt be aloud I believe that they create vandalism as a magnet student i rather not vandalize I dont want to create conflict I just think cashman could find a new location and make a new fresh safe community for kids who want to learn ..

I love it there after school program is bomb and the school is amazing. I have an eighth grade friend because of there after school program and I am an sixth grader I love cashman

Personally, I am in the magnet program (which is great) but the school is unsanitary, crowded, they force you in portables once you are in 7th grade, and they get really hot, really easily. Due to their being 39 teenage boys crammed into one classroom, withen 10 minutes it goes from 70, to 75 degrees. The new dean banned bottle flipping, which is incredibly stupid, and the bathrooms are unusable. They dont even use their custodians, they force us to be late to class only if 1 or 2 students at your table dont pick up after themselves. I have 1 class that is mixed with magnet and zoned, and the magnet students are the only ones actually working, the zoned students DO NOTHING. Sometimes the teacher (whom i will not name) call a unexpecting zone kid, and it take 10 minutes for them to answer. Also some teacher are good, all the ones i have this year are good, but some last year were horrible.

To protect my privacy I used another persons name. Im a student currently and will be graduating in about 5 months. I do not like this school. Im in the magnet program but I feel as if what I do and what zone students do are the same thing. I do not feel as if I am prepared. I am a 4.0, straight A,s and straight O student. Teachers call their classes, Stupid. I have had this experience when I was in 7th grade. My 6th grade teacher attempted to kick me while I was walking past her. The zone students are bullies and will make fun of you, this school is filled with fake people who will continually talk about you behind your back. I feel, as a student, that I should be saying this. Im too stocked up upon all these different feelings. I cannot wait to graduate 8th grade and get out of this place.

When you read this, this is all T no shadeSo first of all, I love the teachers cuz theyre so amazing, but we got that one teacher everyone complainin bout. I wont say their name cuz #choices, but they accuse people for something they didnt do, they are racist and sexist, and they never bring positivity to the class. But other than them, I love all of my other teachers. And the students are also very great, but some zoned kids arent so appealing. Thats another thing with teachers. They threaten the student to them going to the dean but they never commit, which is repulsive.Second of all, the staff is not my favorite. That female janitor jumps to conclusions a lot, the dean banned water bottle flipping for ONE mishap and people get suspended from it which is idiotic, in my opinion. That old blonde be accusin things, too, and when I asked for some lead, she expectin me to say please like shes my grandmother. I even gave her a nice tone and she thinks Im comin for her.Third of all, the school is very confusing. Like substitutes dont know where they need to be for their class and need help from students and portables are odd. To add on, the whole separation between sexes is dumb cuz they assume that friends come from the same sex. When we have projects, Im always last because of my attributes. The school doesnt care for the LGBTQ community nor races as much as they should be.In conclusion, the school has amazing teachers and students, but it could be much better.Thank you- Tatianna

Decent programs and some good teachers but alot of the staff is unfit to be around children or just dont do there job. It is unsanitary and dirty with low mantinance. Overcrowding and lack of teachers leads to many people to stop giving students indevisual attention. It is a bad school, it would be 1 star if it wasnt for the 5 or 6 good teachers out of 50.
