This place is amazing! I cant say enough good things about this Montessori and the teachers. My 10 years old son was attending the Sunset Montessori when he was 3 and at the age 5 he was already reading and multiplying. At his early age he developed the passion for learning that still pays off, he is an A+ student, attends the Class for gifted and talented kids, and he is one of the best students in his school. Currently my 5 years old twins attend the Sunset Montessori and they just love this place! Its amazing how much progress they made since the day they were enrolled. Their knowledge is already at the 1st grade level! I was positively surprised that the teachers didnt change since my older son left the Montessori , my kids just love them!! The teachers are very caring and have independent approach to each child. The classes are small and each child gets the required attention. The warmth that the teachers have and the connecton to the students is remarkable.They make you feel like a family. In addition this place is very clean and safe! I highly, highly recommend this place!

Love this school! My first born attended this school 10 years ago and now my youngest is about to graduate kindergarten from here as well! And both got lucky with the same teacher! All teachers and staff are so loving, attentive and supportive to our kids. Highly recommend this school!

I was instantly drawn to the warmth and openness of the staff during the tour of the school. We have been nothing but thrilled with our childs development and care at Sunset Montessori. They are committed to the Montessori Principles as well as the Social Justice issues ever present in our society. So much growth. Will send our next child here when the time comes.

The teachers treatment of the children is super special, they learn a lot. Also the place super clean. I do not regret that my girl is in this place. Love it!

My daughter attended SMC from age 3 until she began kindergarten (at another school). The foundation for learning that was established in her by the school and her amazing teachers is still evident even now, when she is about to enter fifth grade. By the time we left SMC, she was reading simple books on her own, writing very well (including cursive!), adding and subtracting, and she had grown from a shy toddler into an independent and confident child. She currently reads at an 8th grade level and still has a strong love of mathematics.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED My son was enrolled here for the first five years of his life. I was a first time mom and super nervous about trusting anyone to watch over him. I felt comfortable immediately and eventually fell in love with this place. The teachers all care very much for the children and treat them like family. They really do go the extra mile and get to know your child on such a deep level. The staff attended all his birthday parties and encouraged other families to interact as well. They provided a social setting that I didn’t know would exist at this age. They also taught him a lot of really great introductory lessons that have set him up for success in kindergarten. I appreciate how much Sunset Montessori made me comfortable and how much they did for my son. Kudos to Ms. Vicky, Ms. Tascha, Ms. Sierra, Ms. Luz, Ms. Ally, Ms. Natalie, Ms. Gio and all the others who touched our lives and hearts. Thank you so much!

I really love this school even though my son has been out of it for some time now its one of the schools I always recommend to friends and family. Great classrooms and teachers and the Ms.Vicky is the best 100%

My grandson attended SMC K - 2nd grade and I absolutely love the school. He entered 3rd grade well above grade level average and it was all thanks to the teaching he received at SMC. Staff is super friendly and made all families feel at home! High recommend.

Our daughter has been there for her entire Kindergarten year, and now they are adding a mixed class of Grade 1, 2, and 3 for next year. Im going to keep her there, as shes doing so very well, and I really like the small-school atmosphere. Were overall very happy with the school and the staff. As of July 2012, they are also adding a lunch program, so that I no longer have to pack a lunch or snacks, nor do I need to listen to the whining about what her friends are getting in their lunches. Its not the most ideal menu, but if she actually eats it, Im happy. The cost is also better than many other schools nearby.
