When I went to this school, You could tell that the principle and staff where trying pretty hard to keep things good about the school. I was bullied very often when I went here and when my friends said they wrote the reviews to this place... they said that they were only being partly honest.

I love this school, they make you feel like you at home five stars

My children have been going to this school ever since it opened and when they cant go to this one, I will move them to the other sister property to finish with this school. I highly recommend this school.the teachers and staff are amazing. Great communication they have.

Hello Im currently a student here and Ive been going here since 1st grade. If I had a word that would describe this school it would probably be a understatement. Im glad my mom put me in this school. They have amazing teachers and staff members who really understand you and make you feel welcome here just like a real family. And Im glad to see the school growing over time. In all I recommend this school for you and your kid!(☆▽☆)

They need to get better at the time they are releasing the kids the parents are waiting in there car for more than 30 min every day

My daughter has gone to this school since they opened and she still loves it. The staff is always nice and friendly as he the teachers make it very enjoyable for the kids to be there. A little sad some of the staff will be transferring to Mater East, but still looking forward to starting the 2020-2021 at Mater Mountain Vista..Go mustangs!

I use to go to this school for 1st 2nd and 3rd and my favorite teacher was mr.stewart the food was bad tho

Currently, I am a student at this school, and to be honest, I dont like it and I havent even been here in person. The work here isnt even on my level for seventh grade. My friends from my old school are learning what they should be while Im stuck here learning place value. Are you serious? The kids are annoying too. Theyll chat a lot in class and the teacher will have to disable the chat. The teachers dont really seem to care, either. I always dread to open my chromebook and go to class. All this school has taught me is stress, piling me up with assignments to the point where I have about 15 at this point. This school has basically ruined my mental health. My friend even went here before and described it as how I am right now. I want to go back to my old school. And if im staying here for the rest of the year, the only good thing will be me passing seventh grade.

Staff is really nice. They make u feel welcomed at this school. Everyone is treated equally with respect. Ive been here from when they barely opened and all I can say is that its been a good experience, you build a very good bond with most teachers.The teachers are very nice, goofy, funny, energetic, etc. Also at mater you matter:))

I love Mater Academy it is a Awesome school. I have been there since 3rd grade and I love it I made this awesome friend that she is like my family. most of the things are great. If people have been thinking it is a bad school well they dont see it the way me and all my friends see it. I have been in that school for 3 years now and still love it. I hope I can stay here for the rest of MS. I bet you will love it too because I matter.

This school is the best school i have ever been to. there are really nice teachers (they teach you really good), i just love this school i am going to stay here. this school is like home to me.

I moved my daughter here from Cynthia Cunningham Elementary and I believe it was the best decision Ive made for her education thus far. She left the 3rd grade at Cunningham doing 3 digit addition and subtraction with a B-C average ( I blame this on the over crowded classes) to entering Mater Academy for her 4 grade and understanding algebra almost better than I do. She is also now a 4.0 student excelling in Math and Science since changing school. Last but certainly not least, Mrs. Johnson is Awesome!!!!

Mater Academy Of Nevada makes you feel like you belong, like a family. I’ve grown up in this place since the 2nd grade so I’ve been in this school since 4 years ago. This place deserves more then five stars.

To be honest, its an alright school. Youve got your good kids, your (super) bad kids, and then the kids that just stay under the radar. Some of the kids just come from really bad pasts and need a little enlightening. Free food, awesome MS Dances, many friends to make. Just dont get into too much trouble. Not up to par. I have had my child here for 2 years and feel she is not where she should be academically. There are some great teachers that do truly care and some that could careless. Very unorganized school. I have offered to volunteer several times, took time out of my schedule and they didnt use me to my full potential. They wasted my time. People dont follow instructions here for drop off and pick up procedures. Every day the cross guard has to go to each car and tell them of the procedures even though there have been several emails sent out. The childrens lives are in danger because some drop off in the middle of the street and in unauthorized areas. I see people every single day double parking and making U-turns in the school zone which is illegal! Needless to say this will be our last year here. This is a title one school which I was never aware of until well into the school year. Dont be fooled by the reviews for Mater Academy schools in Florida this is quite the opposite!!

I have my two boys attending the bonanza campus. And so far so good! My kids love it here ! They have sports and clubs and after school care !

I like this school. You get Chromebooks. That you get to take home. People at this school are really nice and smart.

This a awesome school i have been hear since third grade teachers are silly fun goofy they all treat you hear like family. there are so many sports here to play and clubs to join the best part that all sports go to kinder wich is so cute to see them play. the prensible knows every student hear our family and the things you get. but there is the good kids bad kids. there are a lot of groups here so if you think this is a good school come and remember to pick the right group and friends so you would not get in bad tromble here because if you do it would not be pretty for you just saying dont for get this @Mater You Mater

I went there in 6th grade and I HATED that school they think that people will learn by doing it on their own but the I went to Del Webb Middle school learned things and passed 6th grade. I am currently at Lied Middle school with As and Bs while at Mater I had Ds and Fs.

I learned nothing at this school, all the staff acted and told you what you would want to hear to shut you up. There were bullies and everyone was in groups. The teachers were horrible, I didnt learn anything in 7th grade. 8th grade I learned more but was bullied hella alot. And if i did anything about it, the counselor would take the other side! I was so happy to leave that school. Im surprised it has good reviews! This school made my life horrible. They ruined me. Not only that the school is over crowded. The sports were okay, probably the only thing good. But they would always favor the soccer more than other sports. The only thing good about this school, is that I was happy to pass 8th grade.
