I am enjoying the product school course. The self learning materials are great because you are able to go back through as many times as needed. Being able to apply the concepts in a collaborative class environment really helps put in into perspective. I do feel like this class is covering the basic fundamentals of product management. If there were something that I feel like could be improved it would be product schools organization of live class session materials. Sometime the instructions are not entirely clear, so we take up a large amount of time in class to understand what we are suppose to do, and when we get into the activity it can feel rushed. I think that if there was a clearer outline of what is expected in class it would not feel as rushed.I would also prefer that there be earlier class options, but understand that doesnt work for everyone.

David Cho was my instructor for the Product Management course held at The Product School. Initially, I specifically took his course because of his prior experience at a Big 4 firm, Deloitte, because I felt that I could relate to him the most out of all of the other instructors. For every topic we discussed in class, David made sure that we understood how it applied in the real world since they could be be different with real life examples. Because David was my instructor, I believe I was able to gain more than I expected from the Product Management course. If he teaches other courses in the future, I would be interested in taking the course(s) based on the fact that hes the instructor.

Their curriculum is infused with practical real world scenarios that make you feel like youre an actual Product Manager (PM), performing PM functions. The way the curriculum is delivered is very unique and live sessions go beyond just Zoom. We had access to tools that PMs use in their day to day life such as Jira. To top it off, our instructor Jochen Simon was awesome! He shared his experience with being a PM with Amazon and Verizon and how classroom concepts applied in the real-world. He shared examples from his previous work on different products. I’m actually enjoying the course a lot, although the timing based on my time zone makes it difficult some times but I find that the next day I’m pretty much using the day as use case for what I learnt at the course and that’s a very new way to my work or thinking process. There is a lot of new things and terms that I’m not familiar with that goes over my head sometimes due to my non technical background but I catch up fast as I get real time experience and studied my modules. My instructor has been very helpful in ensuring everyone is carried along in the class.

Excellent instructors and online education experience. The online portal needs a bit of work though. The upper navigation bar for the classes has some bugs when moving between modules. I completed the PMC certificate this week with Nina Foroutan. It was a very insightful and valuable course that Nina brought good business and product perspective to- practically from her career as well through the product concepts and frameworks practiced at product school. Nina created an environment where students could bounce off ideas, ask enticing questions, and articulate it back to important PM concepts. It gave me a solid understanding of product management and what it entails and if this is career path I want to pursue. The curriculum is very thorough and very inspiring to hear product leaders speak in the pre-modules about product concepts utilized at the workplace and then discuss them during the class in a more practical context. Again, a great class taught by Nina and worth the investment!

I recently graduated from the Product Management Certification course, I am sad its over. As a new professional looking to break into the industry, I found the course to be helpful and informative. I read The Product Book before the class started, so I had a decent understanding of what was going to be covered, but I loved working on a group project every week. Each class focused on a different part of the product life cycle and it required using effective communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, which are essential to being a successful product manager.I appreciated the structure of the course. Theres about 2 hours of pre-session material that you complete before class (i.e., pre-recorded lectures, readings, podcasts, etc) and then during class you spend the time putting the topic into practice. As a working professional with limited time, I was able to budget my time accordingly each week to ensure I was getting through the materials before class. Our instructor, David Cho, a Senior Product Manager at Zillow, was exceptional as a first-time instructor. He brought a lot of personal experience, knowledge and insights in the different topics we discussed each week. He made himself available after class hours to answer questions and provide support.I would recommend this course to anyone thats hoping to learn about Product Management. Like anything, you get out what you put in. Make the coursework a priority each week and while you are in class. Youll get a lot out of it.

HOWEVER, Rocky made this one of the best courses I have taken in my life. Not only did he ensure coverage across all levels of the audience - experienced to mid to early learners of PM, he also delivered the course in an extremely interesting, energetic manner - mixing in key theoretical concepts with critical group exercises and real life work experiences!! Most essentially he was fantastic in helping the class prepare themselves for the interview process which is by far the most critical reason one is taking this class. I cannot praise Rocky enough. Im really fortunate he was my professor and he was by far the best part of my experience! He single-handedly is the reason Im giving this 5 stars!Product School provides a unique experience to learn about product management. There are very few schools directed at this type of education. This is especially true since Product Management is such a new role. As a leader in the education space for product, Product school paves the road but inevitably also runs into proverbial potholes. Some of the learning resources could use some buttoning up, but I started the school during covid so its hard to tell what type of virtual learning restrictions were new for them. As a school they are definitely trending in the right direction and only getting better. Overall the school was very open to feedback, and wanted to improve. I applaud them for that and give them an A+ for effort! I do think they need to provide better resources and structure for professors. The school work often felt random or that it didnt really correlate to the classwork for the day. Additionally, it would have been extremely valuable at the culmination of the course for the school to provide a collection of worksheets, frameworks, information to use as a resource moving forward in a product role. Some type of folder with this information would be a great start! That information is currently scattered around which makes it hard to access. Overall, the school itself has managed to get excellent professors, but that their execution is subpar at a grade of B-.

My experience at Product School was positive from start to finish. It began with an identified need for me to seek formal education in PM prior to interviewing for a role. With that in mind, I was presented two options for industry-leading knowledge providers...and I chose Product School. Why? Because from the moment I engaged with the PS team, I was presented with timely, accurate, and relevant information pertaining my anticipated role and how they could assist me in being better prepared. At no point did anyone there guarantee me anything - which was much appreciated on my part. The financial admissions process was straightforward through a third-party lender and I was admitted into the upcoming course within a few days. A flurry of emails went out within a few minutes of acceptance and on-boarding was completed digitally in minutes. Now to the important stuff - how was the actual course? In short, it was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. I was fortunate to be surrounded by incredibly capable and engaged fellow learners and led by Rocky Sharma as an instructor. During the five days we covered all of the basic level skills required to understand the PM role and Rocky routinely placed us into learning groups to validate our theoretical concepts. If this were a course that lasted another week, Id gladly make the time. I feel a lot better prepared now for my upcoming interview as a Product Manager and am looking forward to seeing how and where my new alum network goes in life. The class is heavily influenced by discussions of work experiences from other students in the group. Our group was 6 people, a great size for this format.

Their Product management certification course is extremely terrible and the course material is not very good. The material is completely old school and at least not updated in 4-5 years. Here in South East Asia - during hiring process it is said that no candidate should be using any Product School related certification since it does not add any value in the job prospects and on top it hurts the chances of a candidate getting hired. There are other ways of learning product management instead of doing this overpriced course on Product school. Also the reviews here and on other sites are not accurate since they are making their instructors get their students to write reviews else they don’t make part of the payment. They are total scammers basically and faking this school.

A virtual class that didnt feel like one! I did the Product Manager Certificate from Product School with Rocky Sharma and it was a delight! The accelerated certification gives you a week full of content, exercises, real-life examples and opportunity to meet product enthusiasts from around the world. It is a crash course in product management and first time PMs or aspiring PMs will get lots out of it. If youre an existing PM and have your basics right, Id suggest doing Product Leadership Certificate instead as it may be more relevant for you but would still recommend doing it from Product School because the experience is quite seamless, professional and with an Instructor like Rocky, its fun, engaging, interactive and filled with industry knowledge and know-how.

Product School was amazing. I’ve been doing informal product management for years for my own startups and just managing the development of software projects. I knew the big pieces, but always lacked a formalized process and framework for thinking about how to execute product management. Product School gave me that! Our teacher(Rocky) was amazing, and I’ll for sure be taking the other two certificates at some point. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

I completed the Accelerated Product Management course through Product School over a 5 day period. Prior to applying to product school, I had no practical knowledge of the best practices of the product management discipline. Through most touch points, Product School provides great customer service. My representative was very diligent about following up with me and making the process less intimidating than I expected.Over the actual product of Product School is great. The Accelerated Product Management course load is a lot to digest. But, my instructor was very helpful in explaining concepts and breaking the information into chewable pieces. In the course you cover the gamut of topics! If you’re looking to get a great idea of what it means to be in product management and what approach works best for landing a job—Product School is a good place to look into.

I took the Product Manager certificate. It was an informative course, for Product Managers. Our instructor was Rocky, he was very energetic with a vast knowledge of Product Management. He gave us real-time examples and taught the concepts. Thoroughly enjoyed my classes, group-exercises and the final presentation - which was to build a product feature with our dream-company. It was a very insightful course, cant wait to use this knowledge in my next PM job!

During a future of mobility conference in 17 in Singapore. I came across a speaker, who did some transformational work in the mobility space, I still recall his abstract slide of PLATFORM vs PRODUCT and rise of platform world. Yes, his vision of making Singapore a top country for autonomous driving is almost coming to reality in the present day.Recently while reflecting on my learning curve, I recalled that story and focussed to learning something new in this direction. However, I was not sure where to start, It reminded me of the alchemist quote “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it”. I found an incredible mentor 🏃🏻 Rocky Sharma who took me to this journey. He shared his personal experiences, insights throughout the class. Ill always try to apply the learnings in my real world. With the diversified cohort the learning multi-folded. I not only learned nuances of product management, but also learned my biggest lesson “Why” of everything.Happy that I have learned product management (structured approach/frameworks), and cemented my belief that - to be a great professional whether a product manager or anything else, one has to be a great individual or human first.Thank you #Product School #🏃🏻 Rocky for accelerating me to learn and help me believe in my superpower.

Hello!I did the Accelerated - Product Management course and I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Our class instructor Rocky was extremely insightful and had a well prepared content, but was not limited to it. He constantly took feedback and tailored the classes and content real time. He went above and beyond to connect with each student during the course to check on them and followed up diligently with the questions. It was very evident that he spoke out of years of experience and gave us practical views, frameworks and insights into Product Management techniques. The course was holistic and discussed in detail the various tasks of a Product Manager.I would highly recommend this course who are on the verge of transitioning or have recently transitioned into Product Management.Cheers!

I did the condensed product manager certificate at the product school (1 wee). I had a great experience all around: very good instructor (Rocky), good content and engaging sessions that were balanced between theory and practical exercises. I feel like I gained foundational knowledge about product management and the confidence I needed to pursue a career in this exciting discipline. Rocky went above and beyond to continuously differentiate between good and great product managers which was extremely helpful.

Product school offered a great structured course around product management. Coming into the course I was not sure where to start my PM journey and what the Product management entails. The course is structured very well. One of my favorite things of the course are group activities where you work with your cohort in teams to solve PM exercises. This course is also a great opportunity to network with your cohort and learn from other peoples resources. I would highly recommend this course if you are interested in Product management and would like to transition to the field.

I took the advanced Product Management course at the end of September. Luckily due to covid I got the opportunity to join remote during PST.Our instructor was informative and ensured our attention was captivated during the long hours. Time boxing was prompt and exercises with the team was hands on even though we were remote teams. We went through many actual experience exercises and even resume and interview guidance to ensure we market ourselves better as PMs or whatever career choice we choose that fits our goals.

I completed the product management program with Professor Lenworth Gordon. Amazing course, I highly recommend. Lenworth is extremely knowledgeable and shared so many tips and tricks that he uses in his daily PM work, at Amazon. It was engaging and well planned out. My favorite part was the daily group work we did at the end of each class. It gave us an opportunity to really jump in and practice the PM training we were receiving. Lenworth gave us great feedback and helped us reach the next level in our work.I would highly recommend taking this course!

I think Product School run really good Product Management courses, particularly the more advanced Product Leadership and Product Executive. I had tutors who worked as senior product managers at Playstation and CBS and they were very knowledgeable. Also, having the opportunity to do the course online from Australia I got to interact with people from around the world and learnt a lot from the other students.I would only recommend making the executive course longer and adding some less known case studies (a bit like business schools use case studies to teach).

I had the opportunity to take Lenworth Gordons Product Executive Course at the Product School. It was a truly rewarding experience! Lenworth is a very engaging and knowledgeable instructor, and draws on both his rich experience at Amazon as well as several case studies that bring the concepts to life.My favorite part of the class is the interactions with rest of the cohort that brought in diverse perspectives and experience to the discussions. The Personal Action Plan presentations were particularly insightful.I will cherish my Product School experience, Lenworths coaching, and the professional contacts I have made here.Highly recommend the PEC to experienced Product Leaders

I recently enrolled in the Product Manager Certificate course offered by Product School and successfully received my certificate in January 2021.This course, taught by Lenworth Gordon, gave me the foundation and framework for pursuing a career in Product Management. For each class, Lenworth started with an overview of a topic as per the curriculum, provided relevant examples and scenarios to support the topic, and then had us break out into groups to apply those theories and skills into a hands on exercise. The course was dynamic and interesting and equipped me with the tools needed to pursue a career in Product Management with confidence. I HIGHLY recommend the instructor, Lenworth Gordon and Product School for anyone that wants to break into Product Management.

I was able to go through the accelerated product manager program through Product School in July 2020. We originally started out with 20 participants, and 3 people ended up dropping out by the end of it as it was not a great fit (I believe they got a full refund or switched to another program). The instructor, Rocky Sharma, was engaging, knowledgeable, and managed a good balance of staying on track and allowing the students to explore tangents of interest. I would recommend this course for anyone looking to strengthen their foundational understanding of product management.

This was a challenging course to become better at product leadership with an executive mentality and mindset. The course I took was an intensive over two and a half days. So a lot of information and activities, but even so was able to digest much of the learnings while connecting with a new group of people from various parts of the world. The instructor was energetic and committed to our learning and our career and professional growth. I would recommend this course for any product manager who is either an executive or has that aspiration to become.

I had a great experience during the one week accelerated cohort with Product School. My instructor Rocky was thorough and passionate about making sure we were able to digest the material. Even when it seemed a bit overwhelming at some moments, he reminded us that the course was for us and had no problem reiterating the material as our understanding of the information was priority. The user interface was easy to use and the homework and group projects were equally challenging. If you are thinking about going to Product school you wont be disappointed.

I have taken the Product Executive Certificate (PEC) certification course from Product School instructor, Rocky Sharma and I couldnt be happier. Rocky is an experienced Product Executive who shared his learnings, successes and failures in an insightful way that helped me understand what leaders at the top level think when they manage/ lead their subordinates. The course was introspective and Rockys style was very free-flowing that really helped in my crazy schedule at that time. As I step out looking to work as a new PM, knowing about the dynamics among colleagues, subordinates, reporting managers and leaders makes me feel confident. Thumbs up for the course and double thumbs up for Rocky as an instructor! 🙂
