POT is so welcoming and a great place to find community. Even if youre a beginner, their classes are fun and engaging. Ive taken several wheel throwing classes with great instructors and recently with the pandemic their zoom handbuilding classes have been a fantastic outlet of creative energy. Every teacher and employee makes this studio unique and wonderful!

This is a beautiful boutique studio for pottery classes in LA. Whether you’re new to making pottery, or a pro, POT is a great place to learn or hone your skills. It’s a POC, female owned business, which can be hard to find in Los Angeles. Love this place!

I honestly can’t remember life before POT! I took a beginners wheel class here because I needed a creative outlet and I ended up finding an amazing community and a new hobby that I can’t live without. Mandy and Ambar have really created something beyond special. So grateful to have found them and this place!

POT is an incredible place! The fact that they offer classes in Spanish is amazing. The staff is incredible and they really know what theyre doing. The amount of patience and skill to teach others to make something is a natural skill. I felt welcomed and encouraged to create and not frustrate myself.4 classes for $140 is pretty solid! The fact that they have all the equipment and enough clay for a beginner to play is a steal.I grew up in Echo Park and I would love to bring my mother here for her to relax and learn a new skill. I hope POT does community outreach in the future for Latin American community who still loves in Echo Park.

So happy I found POT! Its a wonderful, inclusive neighborhood ceramics studio offering both hand building and throwing classes. Ive taken hand building with Mandy, POTs awesome proprietor, and wheel/throwing with Ambar -- both are fun, knowledgable teachers. Going on my fourth class here -- I cant recommend it highly enough!
