Ive been studying with Wayne for over six months and I cant begin to describe how much stronger of an actor his course has made me. While implementing the Meisner technique, the class has brought out my ability to connect in ways I never thought possible- with not only myself and my own emotions, but more importantly my scene partners. One element to the structure of the class that I love is the size and intimacy of it. Its small enough to get the one-on-one attention that every beginning actor needs, but with enough people to work with and learn from as well.Whether youre just starting out or have been in the business for years, I would highly recommend the Wayne Dvorak Acting Studio for anyone who is serious about their craft and ready to bring their acting skills to a whole new level.

As a Producer of Film and Television, I have had a chance to observe the results of Waynes instruction and I have always been impressed by his ability to focus in on the individual creative needs of his Actors while, at the same time, providing them with the wide range of practical information needed to survive in this business. Breaking in is easier than staying in and Wayne gives his clients the structure, knowledge and confidence in themselves necessary to make this a career.

For Film and TV, you need This!. Meisner foundation with TV and Film focus. This is one of the most effective Acting programs in all LA for Film and TV. It gives you the Meisner foundation plus Voice, Shakespeare and Relationship training. It will enhance the way you are and will build the capacity to perform in every situation and with any type of circumstances. Your will learn how to play leading roles, not just temporary o minimal figures. This is a formal program that requires discipline and consistency. It will make you a real actor. The environment is professional and brings out the best from you. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to really learn to act for Film. Mr. Wayne has real TV experience and also his academic background creates a complete set of elements that will prepare you to exceed the expectations of this industry.

I have been a member of the Wayne Dvorak Acting Studio for over 7 months now. I can honestly say that this class has been more than worthwhile for me as an actress in Los Angeles! In the short seven months of meeting weekly with my class, Wayne has helped me open my emotional expression and really become attune to my emotions and reactions to a scene partner or the dialogue of a scene. This was my first real experience with Meisner training, and I have a feeling that a huge part of why I love it is because of Waynes intuitive way of teaching. He has a way of reading people that really comes in handy because he will help you uncover your true behavior and reactions, so that you as an actor can more easily access your emotions.Class sizes are very small so its definitely not like a classroom, its like getting together weekly to rehearse with your friends! Highly recommend auditing this class if you are looking to join a new acting class.

This studio is hands down the best training I have taken over the years. It really teaches emotional control when approaching the thing we call acting, his curriculum is only for the serious actor I would highly suggest taking Waynes class if your and expert or beginner

I moved to LA from NYC in April. Looking for an acting class (or more specifically, a Meisner class) to continue my studies, I came across the Wayne Dvorak Studio. I like studying with Wayne because Ive improved (and continue to improve), becoming more grounded and real in my acting work. My classmates range from early-career professionals, working in and auditioning for national commercials, regional theatre, and a variety of TV shows to very new actors (for a few of them, this is the first acting class theyve ever taken). In the few months Ive been in the class, everyone has improved loads, and I improve by working with actors both more and less experienced than myself. Also, as the class is kept small, we all get to work multiple times per evening. It reminds me a bit of high school, of this program called BFS. Athletes of all sports and skill levels trained year-round to get bigger, faster, and stronger. Waynes class is like BFS, except replace athletes with actors and bigger, faster, and stronger with more grounded and real, able to go deeper, and more creative in your preparation and your approach to your work.

Meisner training from an awesome, experienced acting teacherIm so happy that I decided to take Wayne Dvoraks Meisner program. I came into this program about 7 months ago having some experience acting but no formal training. In the past I felt like Id always been relying on basic instincts and an incoherent hodgepodge of tips that I had received from various teachers/directors over time, without really having a strong technical base to build on or a clear idea of who I was as an actor. Wayne has changed all of that for me not only through the Meisner training but through his thoughtful, specific, personal feedback. Wayne really takes the time to focus on and learn about each of his students (he keeps his classes small) in order help each of us to grow into ourselves as actors. He doesnt sugar coat anything, and you can expect to get very clear, honest, useful notes with no BS. This is also reflected in the studios environment where you are challenged to deeply connect with your emotional life when you are acting and push yourself to be totally honest with yourself and your scene partner. Wayne does a great job of showing you how the Meisner exercises help you to be more present and real and how to apply the technique to scripted work. When doing scenework, he always chooses interesting, challenging scenes and puts a lot of thought into choosing roles that suit the students in the class and will push them into new areas. Wayne also has a lot of experience with the industry, having been a working actor himself, and was always willing to talk after class whenever Ive sought career advice. But on top of all that, Wayne is just a great guy to be around. I think anyone who is serious about being an actor and is willing to put in the work every week (both in class and outside it in rehearsals), regardless of what their experience level is, will get a lot out of this class and will come out of it a better actor.
