CNC helped me get my Californian drivers license 1st try. I already had a drivers license from Europe, so just needed to get familiar with the specific rules in America.I took a package of 1 class of 2 hours and 1 class of 1 hour followed by the behind the wheel test.The communication was fast and clear. The instructors gave useful and professional tips and helped me fix some errors I had created.

I highly recommend anyone willing to learn driving from scratch to get classes from CNC driving school. I was a new learner with no driving experience before. I took 6 hours of classes with instructor Nate and he was really professional and very patient with me and helped me practice at my own pace. He chose routes that werent very crowded and helped me gain confidence on my driving. I took my test yesterday at Glendale and I passed on first attempt. For the test, Rafael took me to the DMV in his car and on my way there, he helped me polish my skills by giving some very helpful last minute tips. He also told me the exact test route and important pointers to keep in mind which helped me pass the test without any issues. The customer support of this school was also very professional and prompt. They helped me book my test appointment without any hassle. Overall, my experience was really awesome and I am grateful to them for teaching me and helping me in getting my license. I wish CNC driving school good luck for the future!

I recommend cnc driving school and the instructor Nate. I am an international student in USC and had my license, but was too anxious to drive freeway and would like to be trained on that. Nate is really patient and professional, and he knows LA so well that he chose a route with light traffic so that I can practice driving with highway speed but not pressured with cars cutting into lanes, etc. Plus, the view along the route was so great that driving becomes relaxing. What added on to all these is that Nate is knowledgeable not only in driving but also the history of LA and also fun to talk to, so I got to know LA much better along the practice route. At the end of the lesson, I felt more confident in freeway driving and would definitely recommend CNC driving school and the instructor Nate to everyone.

Failed exam. Im sure those who have also failed arent writing reviews!Even after 10 hours of paid lessons PLUS DMV test. Lessons were pretty poor. In all honesty, they should have been more stricter by simulating an exam at all times, assigned homework like reviewing the DMV driving exam criteria and coaching through all driving thinking. Main instructor was also coming off a bit hostile at times. I lost in the end because my practice instructor was a little too lax and I got too comfortable, wed only chat about random things WHILE I was driving casually during practice sessions (no good for concentrating). Although my driving was good during practice and safe, mindset was not. Beware. I dont know how I feel about driving schools anymore as this was my SECOND chance at a driving school after an unprofessional experience with another so spend your money at your own risk. I should have just practiced with my father, who has the patience lol.

Rafa did a stellar job helping my wife with her driving such that she managed to pass her test in her first attempt. The key quality of a driving instructor is to have patience and Rafa demonstrated that to the core. Not only that, he gave me tips as well on how to not interrupt learners when theyre driving and to give extend liberty such that they become independent and learn from their own mistakes. As an international student driving in the US for the first time with ~6 months prior driving experience abroad looking for a driving school to freshen up driving skills in general/for DMV behind-the-wheel test, this place is perfect. David and Rafael are both great. Im amazed how spending ~3-5 hours with Rafael improved my driving skills immensely. He is very observant and can point out exactly what you can/need to improve on. If youre open to criticisms and willing to listen, his feedbacks are very on-point.I failed the DMV test on the first attempt (which was wholly my fault) but passed cleanly on the second. Regardless, theyre a great driving school and they made it clear up-front that (understandably) weather or not a student passes depends entirely on the student (especially when the local DMV is notorious for being very critical/strict). After ~12 hours with the school I feel a lot more confident in my driving and Id recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their driving skills.

Rafa is a great driving instructor. His teaching methods have made me a much more confident and aware driver. He is definitely the reason I was able to pass my driving test. He has special tips and tricks that you wont get anywhere else. Hes also a great guy and fun to talk to.

Rafael is very patient and encouraging instructor. I took lessons from him when I came to the US and had little experience of driving before. He gives you useful tips and being an experienced instructor, knows exactly what your areas of improvement are. Due to his guidance, I was able to pass my test on first attempt.

I am so happy that I found Rafael and CNC driving school for my son to learn how to drive. I thoroughly researched many local driving schools in the area and found him by word of mouth. He was so efficient, knowledgeable and patient with my 16 year old son. His calm demeanor and great sense of humor was a big hit with my son. I am an international student at USC and my friend told me about CNC driving school and Rafa. I still remember my first day when I met him. I was a beginner and he analysed my driving skill and recommended me to book the DMV appointment in a month or so. He gave me the assurance that he will prepare me to become a confident driver in the next few sessions. He made me improve my driving everytime I got on the road. He taught me how to stay vigilant of my surroundings and pushed me to be a more defensive driver. After his lessons, I not only became a confident driver, I also passed my test on my first try with very few errors. Rafael is great! I felt drastic improvement in my driving just after the 1 lesson! He explains everything very easily, knows a bunch of useful tips, is very calm and never yells, even if you stop in the middle of the intersection full of traffic! :) I just wish i would drive with him at least a bit before i failed my first driving test...

I only had 5 lessons with him, which completely changed my understanding of the road and made me a confident driver.Rafael is a very patient instructor, who never scolds and knows when to praise. He explains everything very easily. He also knows all the DMV routes and having my test in Culver City was a piece of cake, since he weve practiced on that exact route many times.Besides, his prices are very reasonable. I do not recommend it. Mr. Rafael was irresponsible and was late at the agreed time. Then with a lousy attitude. It tells you to do things without giving you instructions. If you are a beginner it will not help you. It is easier for him to people who already know how to handle, not those who are learning, a terrible instructor for a beginner, he has no patience, he does not see what you need but what he needs. It does not accommodate your schedule and tells you if you want me to do everything you have to pay. I was totally disappointed.
