I went to this school as a child thru the 60s and remember the day president Kennedy was assassinated we were told to go home around noon.as I left the school thru the front entrance I looked up at the flag pole and remember to this day that the American flag had been lowered to half staff I think we all knew something terrible had happened as there was so many somber looks on the faces of the teachers and staff and we all knew even as kids that something was wrong.Today as I look back at the entrance to the school seems like time stood still all over again.other that that we all have had such happy times growing up and moving on from the school that taught us so much and the amazing teachers that taught us so much and gave us all the help and confidence to look forward and succeed and for that alone I thank them all
