School is small enough to know all their students and parents. Staff is friendly knowledgeable. My son looks forward on going to school every day. High school is college prep ready.

This school has amazing teachers and some great staff but the principal is the worst person I have ever met. I dont know whats up but every time I walk by him, he always has to stop me and tell me how to fix myself.

We are thankful to have found ESAT for our three sons. Our oldest, graduated class of 2014, is currently a Senior at Vassar College. Graduation is on May, 2018. Our middle son, class of 2017, is currently a Freshman at CSUN and our youngest is currently a Freshman here. We love the school. They have received unmeasurable support from their teachers and their counselors. There are so many opportunities that our children are exposed to here. We will be forever thankful to the family that recommended ESAT to us!

I have been at this high school and it is a great school for 9-12 grade children. Small community and great staff and teachers.

New and improved review and honest :), Well to begin this review when I first came to ESAT I enjoyed it, just meeting new teachers, staff, and students has been an enjoyable experience. But, sadly I didnt really enjoy my sophomore and junior year due to personal problems. Im currently a senior and I now realize how this school is honestly great, no Im not getting paid to write this review but honestly the counselors really care about their students and helping them getting into college. The teachers here are amazing and really interact with the students and assist us when students are struggling in academic work. Well students in ESAT are friendly and welcome anyone new :) But, the school isnt perfect either, but just in general ESAT is a great school and will help their students get into college ~(^-^)~

A short and HONEST Review:ESAT High, now Alliance Leichtman Levine Family Foundation Environmental Science High School, is no where near top of the line. So I am going to break down my review in fair but true way.Administration (As of June 2017) :The administration of the school was strict and unfair as most reviews put it. There were plenty of cases where rules would bend and change depending on who you were and what clique you were in. I do believe that Andres Versage has the best of intentions in mind while running the school but goes about it in a way that can be detrimental to some students experiences that did cause some rebellion against the admin from students. I do honestly believe that there is a lack of communication between staff and students that needs to be fixed in a way that both parties can function best way possible. This can only happen with level heads and mature conversations on an equal ground.Rating: 2/5Teachers / Counselors (As of June 2017):The teachers and counselors at the school were some of the best possible allies that students had when dealing with personal problems, school problems or any other issues that came forth. They offered honest advice and guidance to the best of their ability when asked. They made the school feel welcoming and almost like a family away from home. The close knit relationships that are built through advisories (homeroom) are long lasting and loving. Many students considered their advisory teachers almost like another parent. They are people you can trust with out a shadow of a doubt.Shout out to Ms Riddle, Ms Schuchardt, Ms Lee and Mr ReynaRating: 5/5Students (as of June 2017):The students for the most part were kind and caring but there were plenty of issues that came forth, as expected when putting a bunch of teenagers together in a small environment. There are some fights occasionally, cyber bullying and issues with drugs but nothing too much further than that. The school does feel like a reality TV show though due to the overloaded amount of brat like behavior (entitlement) and drama and between cliques and friends. For the most part though it was adequate experience in my perspective.Rating: 3/5Education (as of June 2017):As far as general education goes its pretty good. The teachers do know what they are doing and often get students motivated enough to care about their education, but from experience I was totally not prepared for life after High School. I dont know how to do most things that adults should know how to do in order to3 succeed. But hey, the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.Rating: 3/5

THIS SCHOOL IS THE WORST SCHOOL YOU CAN POSSIBLY SEND YOUR KID TO! THE RULES ARE UNETHICAL , THEN THERES A THUMB HEADED PRINCIPAL WHO WALKS AROUND THE SCHOOL HARRASING YOU AND INTIMIDATES YOU! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

The rules here are so unfair. They take away almost everything you have. The principal tries to find the most he can to get students into the most trouble. The place shouldn’t be renewed. This school should be shut down.

I have 2 students in 9th grade. The environment is comfortable and pleasant for students and communication is open between parents and school staff. I think the rules are fair. Parents are always welcome to volunteer and be a part of the school.
