I went to this school (Class of 2006) and it prepared me for my life journey. It prepared me for a four year college and also developed me as a human being. The dedication and passion the instructors give you in order for you to never just give up, but to challenge yourself and at the same time do it in a way that can allow you to give back to your community. As one of the signs that hangs in the hallways states, Enter to learn, leave to serve.

Best school ever. Anyone who says no to this school is obviously lazy.Families need to sacrifice more than they have been and send their kids to Catholic School or any other private school.I think our children are worth the sacrifice.I joined the Airforce and none of the classes in the Air Force where as challenging as the classes in this High School. I also went to college and got 2 associate degrees and none of the classes I took in college where as challenging as the classes in Cathedral.I failed government so I had to go to night school at La High. I finished the government class in one month and got an A-Plus. I asked the teacher, who suspiciously looked like Bob McAllister, if it was the same class they taught during the day. He said yes. When I took the paperwork to my counselor at Cathedral he looked at my results and said why didnt you do this good with our class? So explain to him exactly how easy it was to do the course and it didnt even challenge a persons mind.He just shook his head. What else could he do but be thankful that he works for a school system that challenges the brain. The government class I went to at night at La High was a piece of junk. I passed it 100% in only one month. The class I took at Cathedral really challenged a person. It challenged a person even more than the political science class I took in college. I think this illustrates how crappy the public school system is and is no wonder why so many people who graduate from a public school system really dont know anything.A positive note. That class at LA High is good enough for people who are studying for their naturalization test. It repeats the same information over and over. And Im guessing the illustrations are helpful for people who really dont know the English language very well.Other than that. I dont see how that class could be high school level. And I dont see how people who graduate from LA High can succeed in college without some kind of help.

My parents send all my bro.s to Cathedral High School. Their were 7 of us 5 boys and 2 girls My Sis. Class of 1977 went to Sacret Heart Of Jesus, and I went to Bishop Conaty for 2 years and left the school and went to Garfield High School for my 12th grade.Graduated in 1982. Cathedral Its one of the best Catholics boys school in Los Angeles. They turn out to be great students. My first bro.Class of 1978 Works for the IRS. My second Bro.class of 1981 Manager for a Burger King, but pass-away 7 years ago. My 3rd bro.class of 1982 Is a self-employed. My fourth bro.left Cathedral 1982 then went to Garfield High School graduated in 1983 Works for the Postal Service. And my Fifth bro.class of 1985 Works for the Los Angeles Police Department. So I give alot of credit to my parents. Specially my Dad that paid for their tution for all five, and mom for taking my bros. once in awhile to school in the morning.
