Oh snap. Throwback review cause I attended years ago. This school is a wild ride for sure. I took a chance with attending the SAS program because I felt that Hollywood would have some modicum of an education. That they did. They had a sense of unity and belonging even when times were rough or there were issues that plagued the school at a moral level. I recently saw all the alterations and some of my old nostalgia was replaced but the key element that makes Hollywood High what it is is still there. Situated right in the heart of Hollywood, theres never a dull moment attending this school and highly miss this place. Consider this place as it doesnt offer great teachers and a great atmosphere for new beginnings.

Class of 2005 was the best high school years, many memories. Great teacher and staff members.

Robert Frank Grill graduated from Hollywood High in 1962. Rob was the lead vocalist and bass guitarist of the The Grass Roots band from 1967-2011. Hits were: Id Wait a Million Years, Midnight Confession (a true classic), Lets Live for Today (classic), Temptation Eyes, Come on and Say It, Heaven Knows and Sooner or Later just to name a few! Rob passed away 7.11.11 at a hospice in Tavares, FL in the arms of his wife, Nancy, listening to Lets Live for Today after a fall at his home a few weeks prior. Rob is missed deeply by his devoted fans. Robs son, Christian Leigh Grill passed away 8.11.10 from cancer. Rest gently Rob and Christian...you are forever in our hearts.

Im becoming a senior at HHS this August and junior year has ruined my view of the school. Been here since freshman year. some of the teachers are good. However there is one that likes to bully his students and call them mentally ret*arded. Hes been reported so many times by different people and the principal does nothing. She throws the evidence under the rug. Its a good school but it needs major changes. Our pep rallies are pretty good. HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH VICTORIOUS, Stop . We do have a performing arts program though. Improve the system!!

This school like any other school has good things and bad things. One thing is for sure if you really want to grow as a person and someone in the film industry this is the place to go. I’m a NMA graduate and this academy’s teachers have changed my life. It’s going to be A LOT of hard work but its all worth it at the end. If your Interested NEZU is the one to talk to.

I went to hollywood high school and it is awful. it was the worst experience of my life the teachers are bade the administration is all talk and the students are not being educated. they are teaching children that tha even we wont help you to make it.

A girl named Julie came here at went missing during New Years 1990 she was the most popular girls there and Miss D remembers her . Catch her making out in the parking lot with her boyfriend at the time Shan Jordan they were the most popular students of all of Hollywood High history
