The students there are very rude and disruptive which makes it extremely hard to learn. Some of the staff are rude and don’t care about the students. Please don’t register your child into this school because they will regret it.

This school is full of good people. The teachers look out for you. The students here are unique. Ms.Bryd the current principal and alumni of the school is a great leader. Everyone at this school will treat you like family. This school has the best learning environment because if you want to do good in school and life, WPHS will teach how to deal with a number of difficulties of which you may encounter post high school. In this way this school is very challenging, the weak minded and the unintuitive students wont make here. Before coming here reevaluate your morals and your moral responsibilities, because they will be tested. As long as you have good morals and youre a diligent student you will be successful here at the prep. When you graduate from here youll be proud of all the adversity you overcame. Because of all this Im proud to be currently of the general family and to be graduating in 2017. Thank you WPHS for testing my morals and moral responsibility, so that I would be ready for my post HS life. As a student here, I have seen things around campus such as people shooting dice in the bathroom during class to kids throwing milks and busting them against walls. But overall my classes are somewhat hard to understand and comprehend the work they give us due to kids talking in class all loud and being just down right rude. I came from inglewood high last year and they show better traits and pros more than washington has showed me. I was given a class that had a sub for 2 months and never been taught anything over that time. Around the 3rd month, we as a class gets switched to another class,thats full of immature and inconsiderate freshmen that are disruptive. We are told to catch up to the students that were already in the class but who in their mind would let a class full of kids for nearly 2 months, go and tell them to catch up? That puts a strain on the kids that didnt learn over that time and are forced to forget what that class had learned during those 2 months and are told to catch up you will get it Wrong wrong wrong, my teacher Ms.Hoffman left school and gave me as well as the students who werent in that class an f. When i go to the main office to ask for her email to address the bias grade, they would not give it to me. That goes to show that even the so called workers in the office as well as some teachers (not all only spanish class has proved to be shamefull) but my other class are no doubt similar yet less rowdy like my spanish class. I confronted my current teacher today on how he cannot control the students as well as keep that class at a level were kids can learn without having to have to put on headphones and no play music to imitate a quiet class. And when i finished accusing him (the teacher) of his faulty traits, he did not protest nor did he give a back up statement to why the class is like that, I have witnesses as well as friends who heard this and can agree that he stayed quiet during our final (gave us only a 2 day notice for our final who does that?) This school has proved to be even worse than Inglewood highschool and the neighborhood around the school is violent and unsafe in my eyes. I wish to not return to this school this semester since i feel as if my hard work and commitment to my work has not even been noticed. I feel like i had been doing work in spanish and he given e a question as GRADE, that was before thanksgiving break and i asked him why is this and he says he did not put in grades yet. its been 2 weeks since we got back from break and my grade is still an F. he says our final grade will be all of our class grades and will be averaged out. How can you grade a student who has had little teaching let alone a proper teacher ( our subs would switch after a few days yet they never taught anything that was considered spanish) would have been 1 star but i honestly agree that my history, english , as well as my chemisty teacher has proven to been opposite of what my spanish teacher possess at the momment. Its not him its just how my fellow classmates have taking him for gratned and abuse him for his teaching as a chance to do what they want.

Worst school to attend. Too many fights, attacks, and just full of wanna-be-thugs. Dont even try asking any staff or adults, theyd either join in the mess to bring more drama or shrug it off as the children sniffing or talking with full of negativity.

I used to walk the halls on my way to Henry Clay Jr high from a109 th and budlong. Many Moons ago hoping the day would come that I would attend Gorge Washington . high school.

Love this school it made me who I am today.

IM A PARENT TRYING TO ENROLL MY SON AT THIS SCHOOL. WHAT AM I THINKING ABOUT. IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET HIM IN NOW FOR 3 WEEKS AND THE PERSON IN THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE IS VERY RUDE. I DONT KNOW HOW IN THE HELLWOULD THEY HIRE SOMEONE WHOSE PHONE MANNERS ARE VERY RUDE. SHE IS VERY IMPATIENT. SHE ACTUALLY DOESNT NEED HER JOB, GIVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT EDUCATION FOR YOUNG KIDS. PLEASE THINK TWICE ABOUT ENROLLING.
