Its a good school but a lot a fights are happening so I dont know to say good or bad.But I know its super fun and I learn a lot there.all the teachers are nice and teach us a lot. They are really cool.and you learn so much there.you should take you kids there.they will make friends.

Im a student in animo Western everyday when I step foot inschool I never feel save. Peoplethrowing food at peoples head. Fights everyday, gang members in school, and people smoking. Please family do not bring your kids to this school. Trust your listening to students right know

Im a former student (many many many years ago) honestly I cant believe this school is still in operation. Horrible school, low test scores and constant bullying. However, if you want your child to learn about gang life then this will be the perfect school to attend!

Back in the day it was called Henry Clay Jr High................I went there from 1963 to 1965 and then my parents moved to Ventura County. Henry Clay was a cool school even back then. I sure would like to know what happened to all my classmates :)

This school has a great communication system amongst themselves. its appreciated their is another educational inst. besides traditional within the community for our children to learn. ive had MORE pleasant interactionz then bad here. all the security guardz in green alwayz have been polite, friendly and supportive. office staff as well. my top five has remain the same from older children attending to my youngest. im not that simple minded mz.perez-BUT i do thank the Lord for allowing me to implement basic common sense into my life/choices. @printing out their grades so they can leave with ease....it would had been more appreciated you allowing them to take their exam. a true reflection of your true self n intent.

Not the best principal. ms.perez best interest isnt in our children. she is FAR from an educational advocate. both my nephews where present during testing. she PURPOSELY kept them from testing out of spite. she printed out their grades in hopes theyd be checc out and go elsewhere. they contact persons on emergency cards FOR NON-EMERGENCIES. its never the companies/restaurant/schools-its the people that work there. my sister is a single parent who provides for her children, my mother and pays for my schooling. she herself isnt in the best of health. a few of your own staff was aware LAST WEEK my sister was flying out, i find your conduct very unprofessional, deceitful, manipulative, spiteful and very unnecessary. they kept asking you can they go take their test, why cant they go take their test and to place in writing they could not and you viewed it as be rude?? maybe you dont understand english. its not being racist im half latino. wonder WHY YOU COULDNT PLACE IT IN WRITING THOUGH.........cant wait for my sister to come bacc to know all this.

This is a really bad school. Ive been here since 2012 and i was in 7th grade and it sucked. It WOULD be a good school but the people there are the problem. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD THERE!!!

I been at this school for 3 years since i was a 6th grader and the school has taught me to be brave and tough but the SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US I BEEN MESSED WITH FOR MONTHS AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING and dont put your kid what i been through its a horrible place and a unsafe place to be

Dont believe rumors.... Animo Philis Wheatley is a good school smaller than Animo western but good. Animo western is a great school... Bigger and lots of activities... We have dances and final Fridays which is great and entertaining ..... If people bully you its gotta be for a reason because people in Animo western others dont bully people as bad as you think they just laugh and mess around but all you gotta do is walk away😉 Dont talk back because they will have a better comeback.... Im in 7th grade and the 8th graders are rude but their leaving soon and the 7th graders are really nice and most are mentors for the special Ed class. In what Ive seen since 6th grade nobody has bullied the special Ed class...its the opposite they treat them with respect ..... I dont know much about Animo Philis Wheatley but I still think that Animo Western is better ...and no theres not a lot of fights....but there is a lot and really great security and adults to handle the situation. There hasnt been a super bad fight ... In how they fight they just like talk back to eachother .....oh and theres really good and nice teachers you can really get a good education... If you get anything stolen thats on you because I put my phone in my front pocket unlike other people who have it inside their backpack which can get snatched or have it in their back pocket which can fall...theres great space to ....ps we wear uniform and it is a black polo shirt with kaki pants and plain black or white shoes😄 And its also more advanced and faster in learning than in Animo Philis Wheatly 👍
