Laams is a beautiful school, I like to hangout with friends but.. sometimes I see roaches walking down the stairs

When I first came here I was scared to become a middle schooler. Elementary made school boring for me and it really numbed my brain. But when I came I was surprised with the teachers and students. I made tons of friends and had a blast. This school made me an extrovert. When I move from LA I will remember the 2 years of fun that I gain from this place. I also remember my teachers and their awesome personalities and ways of teaching I never thought were possible. I lived in LA my whole life and this is one of the best memories I will ever keep. Thank you.

I have three children who’ve attend this school, of which one culminated. I have had some reservations about this school and haven’t removed the two that remain at this school out of convince. The Principal is awesome and for the most part so are the teachers. The office staff (front desk) and administor (Smooth without the h) on the other hand are concerning! It is disappointing that LAUSD hires individuals like them to work at schools who give two hoots about the success of their students! Individuals like them are a big part of what’s wrong with LAUSD. If it wasn’t for their ineptness I would definitely recommend this school.

Best Middle School ever the teachers really motivate you to do your best and dont Let you quit. Thanks to Mrs. Romero she never Lets me give up they have really nice teachers. Yeah you should really enroll your kids here. They also have a S.T.E.A.M Magnet Program which I really like. Best School ever.

This school is an amazing school the teachers are great they help you they motivate you over all this school is the BEST

This school is ok. A lot of people say its bad, but its not. Its just depending on the kids if they like to fight, I and others that dont like to get into fights and we dont. So its not bad, its on the kids desicion if they like getting into fights.

The Magnet school has great programs like a Remote Controlled Race Car team and a MakerSpace for all kinds of projects. They even have a kayak building class where the kids build kayaks then take them to the marina to paddle them around.

The most awesome middle School in South LA! We have a strong Advanced Studies Program, a STEAM Magnet, where students hace traveled to Washington DC, New York, Florida, China, and Japan!

The worst. Went for help. not wanting to go to school resulting from bullying which I had reported before to the point that her tantrums were public instead of helping vise principal reported child abuse and took her away causing emotional drama investigation resulted improbable. They should concentrate to resolve and control those with real and odvious problems like bullys. They are responsible for well being and protecting kids not to cause harm and not trying to excuse theyre incompetence.

Pretty much a bad and great school. It just needs to improve more ya know?

I like this school. The teachers are okay and they listen to you and all but to much fights. And. Kids that bully you 😥 I wish people can be nice and careing.

I don’t go here I just wanted to review but my brother used to go here and was able to jump over the gate like a fat penguin 🐧 and nothing was done about it he graduated a fat penguin and stayed like that forever until high school and then got fat again

Today was my first day at this school it wasnt bad some kids were annoying some where not teachers where nice except for one i met around 5 girls and became friends with them then i saw 3 of my old friends and overall it isnt bad like people say

You have to sad to hear these comments the school where my children attend is going to move to that school and where my children go is an excellent school the teachers are very strict and the children have a lot of respect for them, hopefully they will not miss what That summit preparatory has hopefully that this year we are there improves the school more because they from the uniform are very strict. Hopefully it is for something good that summit preparatory goes to is there.

Its the worst school ... they never pay attention ... they dont like to wander with children ... they dont have punishments ... and the worst part is that children grab with teachers and office staff. kieren ... in this school children send adults because adults in this school do not have authority and only pass by loving parents to stay but do they believe?the school is to educate them not only to teach them what kieran children are and what not not ... they forget k teachers also have k vatayar and dont just be helping and fooling themselves ....k if the child does not pay attention to the cell phone .. seriously ????
