My experience at Wright Middle School has been great. Cant wait to graduate by the end of my 8th grade year this year and move on for high school. 2017 is the best year of life so far. I will remember the moments I had at Wright Middle School.

Boof school, the staff here wants you to fail but they act like they don the adults at this school gang up on the children to twist the child’s words around so the child can get in trouble now. I am currently an eighth grader at this school and I now have to switch schools due to the fact that the staff do not like children what so ever. The only good teacher there is the math teacher. The children there are okay though. Please do not send you child here.

When I went to school here, it was a junior High, so Im ancient and to be ignored by millennials. I was bullied here, as I was in other schools, but thats just a fact of life in urban America: bullies are unavoidable; once you get bigger than them--or kick their butt--they suddenly want to be friends.Its the teachers that made this place special for me from 1973 - 1976. I suspect that most teachers are still terrific, though Id check with the English teachers, judging on some of the writings of those recently attending the school. Dont teach kids freaking Ebonics, for Christs sake!My first year at OWJHS, I--like many classmates--bough a ticket for the nonexistent pool on the gymnasium roof. I hope that old gag lives on; it only cost me 50 cents.We had a bomb scare on the worst day of the Malibu fires in--I think--1975 and had to sit en mas on the athletic field for over an hour as ash rained down upon us (until a Third Stage Smog Alert was issued, which closed the schools... as I recall; then again, my memory does funky things, including making stuff up from scratch, so I never can rely on the authenticity of my memories... but theyve sure been entertaining).

My daughter has been going here since 6th grade and we LOVE it! Of course everyones experience will be different. However, school is always what you make of it. In regards to bullying and fights, they are handled expeditiously. We appreciate all of the learning opportunities Wright has offered to my daughter.

I love this place i think you should go definitely when I have a choice for 6th grade or middle school Im going there

Went last year, almost a sophomore. Projects were fun :)Only problem is the amount of bullying and fights.Was bullied in 6th grade and became depressed, but got better by 7th grade after talking to someone. Consider helping those who ended up like me.

I am a sixth grader at owms overall I think that the school is good there is a lot of great opportunities you can get here for example I got to play in the 2018 jr nba all star weekend that’s an opportunity you don’t get everyday.As far as teachers go they are good but some of them are annoying.They get the point across to you tho during p.e you do not want to be loud because you will have boot camp and it is a nightmare.So in conclusion I think Orville Wright is a good school.

This school has lost about 1/2 its students in the last year because it is being poorly run. Often, the principal is gone for the day before the students are dismissed and sometimes leaves as early as noon.When the school had to displace teachers because of low enrollment, they sent away the best teachers and kept the weak teachers who have no classroom control.Bullying is out of control on the campus and there are many fights that occur on the campus daily. The campus is often littered with trash.Parents have been changing over to other middle schools in the area: Mark Twain, Audubon, Marina Del Rey. All of these schools are easily better than Orville Wright.

This school was great and I had a lot of fun here and the teachers were really nice

Mrs wantz is so good she is nice I siad hi to her and she is the best she is that Im her favorite 💛and I love her like a friends 😗 and I missing her

2017 -Horrible school, lots of bullying, theres fights there every day, theres not enough supervision on the campus, if you have a problem with a teacher and want to have a parent teacher conference, the teacher your having trouble with will.get all of your childs other teachers to come against you. Wright has a reputation for this. Many of times I spoke with Ms.Wantz, who didnt / never respond to any emails or letters. When I spoke to Ms. Wantz in person about the situation, all she said was ohh.Ill see. My dad went on LAUSD wed site to get a vistors pass, my dad stopped fights every day. Dont sent your child to this school, its unsafe.

I dont know how to describe this school. Constant fights, cussing every second, and terrible teachers is a little idea. #dontsendyourkidhere

Graduated here in 2001 a while back but nonetheless I loved this school Mr haydel was a great principal and Mr Wong was a dope p.e. teacher! Overight 4 life

I literally go to that school right now im in 6 grade, and for 7 and 8 grade im staying there. A good school but the kids leave a lot of trash

It is horrible. Unless you want your kids being addicted to drugs, dont go to this school.
