Mihai is a wonderful instructor. He very obviously knows Pro Tools like the back of his hand. He has a very straight forward, simple way of explaining things so it’s understandable. And great at answering questions. I really enjoyed this class. I would definitely recommend taking it as a refresher to fill in gaps of knowledge or as a refresher.

This is my second training class for Avid Certification, and truly feel it was the best investment made. The educators are first class, and top notch who not only have proven experience but are also highly regarded in the industry. And I will be taking my 3rd. training class soon. ProMedia IS the way to go!!!

I am a musician, audio engineer and educator with over 25 years of experience and I have been using Pro Tools in all aspects of my career for the last 15. I cannot speak highly enough of the thoroughness and quality of instruction that I received throughout this program. As deeply as I thought I knew Pro Tools I was amazed at how much deeper the program can go and I have already improved my work flow efficiency dramatically. Regardless if you are a beginner who has never used Pro Tools and have no idea where to start, or you are a career audio professional that has been using Pro Tools since its first release and are looking to fill gaps or learn the software more deeply, there is a great deal of knowledge for everyone to take away from these courses. Im a long time ProTools user and have been in and out of different studios doing music production for many years. I got burned out and took several years off. When I came back, I updated from PT10 to the PT2020 and realized that I had some major catch up to do. I took classes with both Frank Cook (100 level) and Eric Kuehnl (200 level for Post). These absolute Masters, These Gurus! Thanks to them my new knowledge, skill, and speed have taken my work to all new levels. These classes were worth every penny. They are heavily discounted since they are complete taught online now due to Covid. Which is surprisingly amazing and beyond convenient. If you are looking for a way to starting learning ProTools, or are looking to advance your knowledge and skills, and get certified! I couldnt recommend ProMedia Training more. Investing in myself thru their training was the best decision I could have ever made. Being a female in this male dominant world of audio engineers has been incredibly hard to navigate at times. I’m an Audio Engineer and Music Producer from Toronto, ON and I’ve been a Pro Tools user since 2008. The last couple of years I was off exploring other creative opportunities so when it came time to jump back into music, I knew I needed a refresher. Jenna was wonderful in explaining ahead of time what I could expect from the classes and my instructor Frank Cook was one of a kind. He explained everything super well and always asked if we had any questions before moving onto the next chapter/ exercise. I am a complete newbie to Pro Tools and I was overwhelmed with how complicated it is trying to get started with it. I am so glad Ive taken these online courses from ProMedia for Pro Tools (100 and 200 levels classes). I learned so much so fast. Theres no way I would of learned this much without the classes. Frank D Cook wrote the Pro Tools textbooks for this class and taught the class. He knows this material inside and out and explained everything so that its easy to understand. If you want to learn Pro Tools take these classes for sure.

Had a great experience. I was a total beginner, reached out to the ProMedia team for some help and guidance. Was given star treatment! Treated me as an individual, recognized where I was with my novice experience, and helped me grow enough to track out a song within a week. Once Covid-19 started shutting down a lot of the entertainment world (as many of us were) out of jobs and this led to (what I believe is a beautiful thing) us wanting to advance our minds and education within what interests us. Taking this Online Course was way more beneficial than I could have expected! Now, I would say it would be wise to have an ethernet cord for faster connection to be able to see everything clearly! An external Monitor helps a lot as well to be able to follow with protools and see the Online video. But--Not only was the Instructor knowledgeable and kind but he made sure each and every student understood the material, not only during the class, but anytime we had questions with anything! It really inspired me to learn more and am already looking forward to the future!! A lot of teachers are concerned with the hours/time and really dont focus on the actual individuals taking that course....but not with this class. It was as if what mattered MOST was that we learned the material and also learned what our hearts wanted to learn....I never felt like I didnt learn enough!! I felt like actually, to be honest, I learned way more than I should have (payed for)!! lol. Although you cant put a price on knowledge, I feel his craft is really geared towards bettering the new audio world as a whole. Great class, and 20 stars if I could!! Highly recommend to anyone who is Interested in Protools professionally or even as a hobby and actually wished I would have taken this class years ago.

My live, online course for Pro Tools 101/110 was a superb experience! I learned so many things in a very organized fashion. Our instructor, Mihai Boloni, is a seasoned veteran of the recording industry, and he presented tools and concepts using practical examples. It was a lot of material to cover in only six classes, but I now have a strong foundation upon which to improve my Pro Tools skills. I plan on taking the certification exam soon.I expect I’ll retire next year and plan on helping school music groups (pro bono) and local bands make and/or refine recordings. I can now arrange and mix many years of my bands WAV files that have been gathering dust on a storage drive.I am looking forward to expanding my capabilities. Who knows…I may become an overnight success at age 65.Many thanks for responding so quickly to my initial online inquiry and getting me started on my audio engineer quest.

Been a Professional Touring Musician and FOH Engineer for 30 years.Been a Pro Tools User since 2008. Mihia showed me more in 6 days then I learned in 12 years from other people and youtube. Hands on and very patience to answer questions not even class related . Very Personal team who cares. Look forward to getting my workflow where I need it and learning more from Pro Media. Yes I will take any class they will teach. I recommend them to everyone who is serious about Pro Tools and the product they put out. He is a Midi Master. I came across this company due to me wanting to push myself further when it came to learning more about Pro Tools and becoming as efficient as I can be in the DAW. Jennifer was very quick about contacting me after I wanted to know more about the program! She even helped me get discounted for my use of pro tools since I was a college student. After the first three sessions in the first part of the classes offered, I was walking out with a completely different mindset that was so positive. I used to be so intimidated by Pro Tools, and Logic was my main DAW, but now after taking their classes, I feel weird NOT using Pro Tools. Mihai is a fantastic teacher who truly cares about each student succeeding and walking out with a better understanding of Pro Tools, and makes you feel like family. It’s great being in a setting where there’s only five people, because it allows you to learn why everyone’s there and gets rid of the “nervous first day of school” vibe. Everyone’s on the same page. You’re not alone. Definitely utilize this company!! You won’t regret it. The fact that you can test to get officially certified (which helps when applying for jobs in that field!) is awesome!

I highly recommend this course for anyone that is serious about learning the DAW domain, and wanting to aquire skills for avant-garde, up to date recording technology. Its important to say that pro tools, from what I learned, can do so much more, with the little things that count, than other DAWs Ive worked with. Its an Industry Standard for a reason. So about the course.. It works! It is a very efficient way to get this knowledge and skill. I think this class also keeps one away from some of the potential pitfalls of discouragement. Be mindful that learning Pro Tools, or any DAW is a and potentially very complicated puzzle consisting of hardware, software, audio routing, mics, & or MIDI. You can lose a lot of time (and sanity!) with other approaches.. such as, fragmented and disjointed social media videos, or self navigation. Since 2014, I have been in a serious persuit with digital recording, and DAW projects. I would have saved some mental strain if I took Pro Medias class, with Mihai, 5 years ago. The amount one can learn in the Pro media class would take someone with out the class much longer. My instructor was helpful, personable, and took adequate time for individual questions. Note, coming from an educators background.. its quite rare for one with mastery and expertise of a subject to yet have patience to communicate in laymans terms for those at a beginning level. So beginners can hang, no problem. The class size is small so its kind of a no child left behind gig. Its a great learning environment thats relaxed yet exciting and thought provoking. Your able to learn the mouse clicks and audio connections at a gradual pace. I am former band director, and serious jazz musician, and I am now feeling more confident than ever to put all this knowledge to good use!

Id recommend this place for anything in Musical Engineering! OMG, it was great ! The professors were understanding and super helpful with anything you needed. I feel like after going here, I know Im 100% prepared for my future career!
