This is really an exceptional school. My children got a great beginning here. The love of learning was cultivated here. Elena is quite experienced and wise. And the families who attend create a great community. As far as I am concerned, having looked at many preschools, it had the most to offer.

While I have always like this school, the reality is that this school has taught me what a school experience should be. Each morning, my youngest song wakes up, excited to go to school, reviewing what he hopes will happen that day, and what his favorite parts of the previous day were. Im sure this is not normal for most kids. If its a day off, he spends at least part of the day trying to recreate what would have happened at school, using me, his brother, and the family dog as his classmates. He feels safe and secure and loved, as much there as he does at home while at the same time, he is learning to share, cooperate, and contribute to a large community of peers and adults. Were thankful that MSH is his school and I am determined to have every every educational experience a positive one.

We have had three kids attend this preschool -- we couldnt be happier! They love going to school every day and come home and surprise us with the fun and interesting things they learn. One day its the latest ballet move - the next day is counting in Chinese! The teachers are dedicated, caring and inspiring. We wouldnt change a thing.

My daughter attended Montessori Shir-Hashirim for 3 years. She LOVED it. The school is truly amazing. It has fabulous teachers, a smart, focused curriculum, a director who is present and oversees everything and helps kids love to learn. My daughter left this preschool incredibly well-prepared for kindergarten. Elena, the owner/director is an experienced, passionate educator who truly loves educating kids in the Montessori method. The school is clean, well-managed, safe and serves healthy snacks. My daughter flourished there. I highly recommend this school! And, if you want your kid to attend a private elementary school, Elena is not only well-connected with admissions directors at top schools, but is very knowledgeable about the admissions process. My daughter was accepted everywhere we applied and so were numerous other families.

We put two children through MSH. Seven years total. Everything about it was fantastic. Our children thrived. The parent cohort was just incredible (and we miss them). Our kids speak wistfully about those years. They were pretty magical. Suffice to say that our kids were more than prepared to meet the challenges at subsequent schools, which included Mirman. Elena C. may be the most experienced and intelligent child educator weve had. Another parent said it best: Elena knows what to do. Trust her. Do what she says. Well, we did, and were more than happy with the results.

The school here is fine and has a great environment but we love it because our kids are learning to love learning. Caring teachers, supportive community and Elena is an exceptional director.
