5 months ago, I enrolled my son into Fusion Academy Pasadena, and it was the best decision I have ever made! His confidence has grown tenfold. Our son has special needs, and he had a lot of testing anxiety at his public school. He doesnt feel like that anymore. He is confident with his work and independent. I cant thank Fusion enough, we are so grateful for Mr. C. We as a family have peace of mind, and that is priceless!!!

I cannot stress enough how wonderful the team is at Fusion Pasadena. My son is graduating this year, after attending since he was 12. The teachers and staff have been a huge part of his progress and success over the past six years, both in struggling academically and in his overall social/emotional development. I dont know where we would be without them!

Fusion Academy made an incredibly positive difference in our sons life. The personalized instruction plan, coupled with the encouragement needed to inspire him that he could indeed excel, really helped him gain confidence. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Fusion Academy Pasadena. My child has grown academically and socially in the three years he has attended Fusion Academy. One-on-one learning with a teacher has kept my child engaged and motivated. He has thrived in this type of learning environment. The teachers structured their lessons to best fit the manner in which my child learned best. The teachers truly cared about my childs development and they incorporated topics into their lessons that were of special interest to my child. When the pandemic forced the schools to teach virtually, my child continued to thrive as this style of teaching did not affect how my child learned. Social activities are carved into the daily school day to foster friendships and social development. There were field trips that the students can sign up for as well as social activities in the evening. Fusion is committed to the students building social connections and making friends, My family is truly grateful to the teachers and staff of Fusion Academy Pasadena for their commitment and dedication to our childs success academically and socially.

Our family was looking for quality support for our middle schooler and high schooler. Our son’s therapist highly recommended the specialized programs and teachers at Fusion Pasadena. We started using the tutoring services two years ago and were amazed at the care and unique relationships our children developed. Every teacher and staff member is highly qualified in their specific subjects, and they work individually with each child focusing on their needs and personality. From math and science to art and languages our children have been excellently supported. Our eldest child is working at the highest and most advanced levels, and although she attends an excellent private school, she loves the personal relationships with her tutors at Fusion. She brings questions and concerns to them, and they work from where she is to give her clarity. Our son has disabilities and needs a different kind of support, which the staff has wonderfully understood and met. He loves his tutors and looks forward to each session. When COVID hit, Fusion was able to seamlessly pivot to virtual learning and support. My husband and I are extremely grateful and have already signed the kids up for summer support for classes next year. Thank you Fusion! We love you and are grateful for your school.Fondly,Claire and Craig Hart

I am a Fusion alumni parent as my daughter spent 2 years at the academy. When, after some turbulent times, she started 11th grade in Pasadena in October 2017, the initial plan was she would just catch up with the curriculum she needed support with in order to re-join the mainstream school circuit in February 2018. However the innovative approach of Fusion, the amazing staff and the unique one-on-one teaching allowed my daughter to excel in her studies so much and enjoy going to school, that in the end she never left, stayed on through 12th grade and graduated from High School at Fusion in May 2019. With an excellent GPA she subsequently applied for colleges on the East Coast and was awarded a scholarship to study Performing Arts in the Big Apple.Fusion advocates a groundbreaking, individualised approach to education. All schools should be like it.

This companys primary goal is to make money. Education is just a mean to that end. Some employees are nice and do what they can, given that flawed approach – which is unfortunately inherent to the the business model –, but for the most part they just leave at the first occasion they get for a better, more fulfilling job.

My son is attending Fusion Academy Pasadena for 7th grade and has done so well there. The teachers are all very good and very nice and have adapted the material to make it meaningful for him. Just walking on campus you feel part of something special. Everyone at Fusion is very upbeat and caring. The teachers email me how my son is doing on a daily or weekly basis. The Homework Cafe means that no homework (or very little) comes home. Meaghan, Mark, Tony and the rest of the Homework Cafe team ensure that each student is getting work done. My son likes to zone out to the computer when he needs to finish homework assignments. This team is on him! They encourage him to try other things and to get back on track if he has work to do. The school also runs amazing field trips and does other social activities on a monthly basis to help the students and their families feel connected. If there were two wishes I had about Fusion it would be that their campus have an outdoor area for sports/play so this could happen daily between classes and that it didnt cost more than some colleges (though well worth the money). This place is really incredible. The difference they have made in my sons academic life has been life changing and I wouldnt trade it for anything. If you are looking for an alternative school environment, you have to look into Fusion.

I can only speak to the Pasadena location. It deserves zero stars! In my own opinion, it is the most expensive place for an education that claims to service students with special needs and yet has no clue how to address boys with ADD or ADHD with an administration or upper management of all females who in my opinion are completely fake and disingenuous to your face at a lofty price. In my opinion, the teachers are hard working, kind and under paid according to having been directly approached by faculty teachers in the parking lot who complained about being under valued, under paid and wanting to quit at times. I was approached multiple times in the parking lot by teachers who stated, your son hasnt been given a fair chance, is being poorly treated by one female administrator in particular, only to receive an email stating that I, shared in open meetings with professionals in the community that your son was being treated terribly on our campus-removing any accountability or honest transparency by these female administrators writing such words. I absolutely agreed with some of the teachers who voiced my concern in the parking lot of Fusion Pasadena as I voiced concerns to my IEP team in closed door meetings at our district about one female administrator who was unnecessarily hard on our son and didnt remotely understand him, over-reacting to situations absent empathy for a student with disabilities and who I felt was fake to our family. The polarity between the teachers and female administrators in personality, honesty, integrity, and humility is truly shocking to any observer. As politically incorrect as this is, in my own opinion, this location needs more male administrators running this school or at the very least, the teachers to become administrators who connect with their students and the administrators to switch places and maybe clean toilets for awhile! In my opinion, there are a few amazing teachers that truly belong teaching at schools that pay them more and where there isnt such a polarity between teachers and administrators. One male teacher in particular, so popular by the boys was every reason a student would stomach the pains of feeling misunderstood and poorly treated by the female administrators collecting the high price tag tuition and conducting the discipline. I have never encountered such an academic disappointment in all of my years around numerous schools and with my own educational background. I could spend hours writing a novel of facts, post emails that I have received from this school filled with blatant lies to make themselves appear as though they are too superior for honesty and any accountability. The Pasadena location is set in an office building on the first floor off of a parking lot and busy highway. The common areas that students gather for homework cafe time lacks any windows and is very dark-the feeling of being in a basement. There are no student bathrooms in close proximity and the only sunlight that comes through is from the teachers offices otherwise known as a classroom. There is no area outside for students to get exercise or to enjoy just being outside! The tuition is a small fortune, what you would pay for an ivy league college and yet the sense of entitlement in my opinion from certain female administrators is truly repulsive and shocking! In my opinion, buyer beware!
