Ive been a student since August 2017. I have learned so much in the first half of my time here. The instructors are all very experienced, and have taught me so much. Josh told me up front what to do to be successful in school and Ive followed his words to the letter. Although I still have a few more months of learning to do, Im very confident that Ill land in a great spot and be successful right from the start and I have this school to thank for that. I highly recommend American College Of Barbering to anyone that is serious about getting into the barbering industry.

I’ve been a student here since early 2016 and just a couple weeks from graduation. Before coming I had never cut in my life apart from just the even guard cut with a pair of Walmart clippers on my grandfather because he was too cheap to go to a shop. I can honestly say that now leaving this place I feel confident in my craft and looking forward to joining the industry of barbering. Looking forward to coming back in a couple years to teach a class or 2 of my own.

We stopped in this school to inquire about the barbering program for my son. I was very pleased with the admissions person, she was very knowledgeable and gave us some great information to get started with enrollment. I am very excited for my son to get started in the barbering program at American College of Barbering!

Its a bit pricey for recruits cutting your hair. About 10 bucks with the tip. Personal opinion they need more females cutting hair which was about 2% and more of a racial mix 90% black. It always helps to have a little more variety of things to choose from. The haircuts are average thats why the three stars.

Full disclaimer: I am a graduate of this program. If one is looking to become a professional barber, this school will provide you with an outstanding start. They are the only school in Kentucky and surrounding region which offers federal financial aid, and ACCEPTS VETERANS BENEFITS.Knowledgeable educators provide you the footing to become well-prepared for the state board examination and help with job placement once graduated.I researched a dozen different schools before deciding on ACOB, and I have a solid career and great working relationship with other alumni to show for my decision. Thanks, ACOB!

Wonderful students, but terrible professionalism. The instructor acused me of lying about if I got a beard trim or hair cut. I ended up paying 9 dollars for something that for over a year only cost 3 dollars. Terrible customer and will never return. Thanks a lot CORY

I personally attended ACOB 2016 -2017. As a veteran I was able to use my GI bill which covered 100% Of my tuition. With in the first two weeks I got a bag full of equipment I was able to take with me after graduating. American college of Barbering has a extensive curriculum that will help with the Kentucky state barber board. If you are looking to establish a good business foundation, learn the basics of Haircutting, I recommend you check out ACOB.
