We contacted this school last year to transfer a student from another local catholic school and was told even without meeting our son that “I don’t think he’d fit in here”. We’ve been in the catholic schools with now three children, one of which was a steinhauser scholar at Trinity. So we went to another more welcoming school.

This school is top notch. I wish my grandson could go here. He does not live in Louisville. The whole atmosphere is about the love of each other, how they take care of each other, and community. The learning is superior.They are working on acquiring National Blue Ribbon Schools Program.Their lunches are catered to letting the children try nutritional foods.Try it, you might like it. Not the deep fried fatty foods.

I prayed and prayed for God to assist me in finding the perfect school for my son to attend. My prayers were answered over and beyond. I cannot say one negative thing because everything has been positive. One of the best decisions of my life. Thank you Ascension!!!!

Ascension is one of the best schools in Louisville. My child wakes up excited to go to school everyday and his academics have improved significantly since starting here late last year. The Teachers, Administration, Principle and Father are amazing at what they do and are extremely welcoming and helpful. They truly care about the whole child, not just about the child for the 8 hours they see them each day. It really does feel like one big family. We are so glad we found Ascension!

Transferring my son to this school has been such a blessing. He has been thriving in this environment with small class sizes and an education that focuses on mind, body and soul. This place has become an extended family for us. There are a lot of sports and extracurricular activities, as well as appropriate academic rigor. The emphasis on the arts, technology and physical fitness is why this school is making great strides. Go LONGHORNS!

Incredible private school! Our son has attended Ascension for 8 years and we feel very fortunate to have found such an incredible place! The staff, students, curriculum and culture are truly one of a kind.

Great school, great principle.....my kids love going everyday and I always feel confident that they are in good hands.
