I can not say enough good things about St. Gabriel Preschool. The staff has been so wonderful to my child and my family. My daughter enjoys going to school every day and is learning so much. We transferred to St. Gabriel from another daycare because my child was not getting the attention, affection or education that she deserved and I am so pleased that we made the move, St. Gabriel Preschool has gone above and beyond our expectations and we will miss them dearly when we move on to Kindergarten next year.

Still trying to figure out why there are all of these negative reviews.... I couldnt say anything negative about this school at all. We love love love this school, the teachers, administration, parish and staff members. Those who commented who such negative things to say, rest assured its more of a personal issue that does not represent the feelings of others overall whatsoever!!

Great school, lacks diversity. My son was the only Brown student but it didnt even bother him. My son loved it but was called a name that shouldnt be used in 2018 by another 6th grader. My husband and I decide to withdraw him. His teachers Ms. Langenkamp, Sis. Sharon and Ms. Farley were amazing. Very hands on and Sis. Sharon went above and beyond to help him learn. Ms. Langenkamp encouraged him to share his faith. But, unfortunately they cant control what children learn at home and say at school. My daughter attends the preschool which is diverse. And has amazing curriculum. Awesome staff! But I believe I will have to find another school for Kindergarten. I love it but it needs more diversity.

Ok first and foremost, I am the parent of a student who is in the 6th grade at this school. Only school he has ever attended. Academics at this school are what I would call SubPar. Blue Ribbon means nothing when multiple schools in the district can claim that have obtained one. Kids constantly struggle because the class structure is built around those who’s parents donate the most or are more actively involved in school activities. As for athletics, this is the worst, and I mean worst organization of any athletics I have ever been around. The Football is just awful, with coaches and staff only lasting one season or not even a full season with the teams. These kids struggle to even learn the fundamentals of the sport they are trying to learn because of the mayhem that they wanna call organized athletics, it’s all but organized I promise you. One last thing I must say. The punishment system or ISAP as they call it, is meant to be a punishment for the child. How is it a punishment for the child when I have to wake up at 5am to have him in ISAP before school? The punishment should be after school while his/her friends are at home playing video games or basketball, they should be stuck in punishment after school, not before. It is an outlandish idea and a foolish one if you ask me. I simply suggest that every parent take a good long look at this school and it’s entire reputation before enrolling your child.

We have been at St Gabriel for 5 years, the experience has been sub par so far( we are transferring to another parish and school next year). We have communicated problems to the principal about curriculum (common core) and she did not respond or blew it off to the superintendent. I have serious concerns about the way this school and congregation manages financials and will not give them another dime. They have no Athletic fields even though they have collected more than enough money from parishioners to build a sports complex 5 times over. The priest lives in a $300,000.00 dollar house in a deed restricted community that was paid for with the parish funds and he drives an expensive hybrid vehicle also paid for with parish funds. It doesnt take a genius to figure out where the Athletic funds went too. Despite being one of the largest Catholic schools in our area the football teams have had to combine with 2 other Parishes to make a team this should tell you all you need to know about how poorly ran the Athletics are here. Daddy Ball runs rampant in 1-4th grades football 1-8th grade volleyball and if your wife doesnt work at the school or if your not a coach your son/daughter doesnt play even though he/she is better than daddys little prince or princess. I have lived in this city my entire life and played Catholic sports 1-12th grade one thing I know for sure is that when the Daddys Ball stops and they get to Trinity or St X Daddys little prince usually makes the freshman team and the talented kids that sat behind them 1-4th make the JV or Varsity and go on to play at the next level in College. Actually most of these kids will probably end up at Desales lol. St Gabriel is bragging about being a Blue Ribbon School which is completely hilarious to me because it is based off Common Core results. Its basically like saying Hi we have dumbed down our regulations and standards so now we are the best school out here look at our pathetic trophy. Not impressed! I would hope that this private school would not want to contribute to declining SAT scores, falling literacy rates, and reduced critical thinking ability but apparently its more important to be recognized nationally than to grow the children of our community . American children today appear to be getting dumber so thanks for contributing St Gabriel.

This school is terrible one of the biggest mistakes we ever made was sending our child to this over priced public school. Do not waste your time and money sending your child here you will regret it.
