I remember the first year or two of this school being a good school. It was fun and creative with many ideas, like the santa shop, popcorn and pickles, spring fling, muffins with mom, doughnuts with dad, and many others. But as the years went on, I noticed the schools fun factor, the one thing I liked about the school, started to fade. The school went down hill, with its PTA going away, many of our privileges going away, and grades going down. In third grade, I was accepted into the J. Graham Brown school, and left Byck after 4th grade. Even though Brown is much better and my grades are higher than ever, I still miss some of the fun activities we did. The play ground was amazing, we did so many fun things, and the school really bonded kids together. Most of my friends I made there, I still have to this day. All-in-all, Byck was a fun and creative schools with kids loving their environment, but as time went on, it lost that charm. But there is a little bit of hope. The school is trying to get its self back together, and I really hope it works, because I want my little sister to have a good experience with school early on, too.
This school isnt such a great school , a lot of bullying happens and the teachers and staff dont really address the problems that happens there
When I went here I had great friends but there was something wrong ok so first of all theres girls twerking it the bathrooms and writing bad words on the wall and also I was being bullied in this school witch I almost committed suicide and also dating well I sorta dated people and also I had to move to a different school but the sad thing about it is I had to leave all my friends without saying goodbye but I highly reccomend you to not send your child here
Great school, Waldorf magnet inspired
