When we wanted a school that was actually teaching students in person every day we chose to leave the public schools. CAL was a breath of fresh air as our teacher was praying for our daughter; she even came and visited her during extracurricular activities!CAL is a good sized school so we didnt worry about a limited group of friends (our childs grade has over 80 kids); it also has plenty of resources and a caring staff. Ive been personally encouraged in my limited interactions with other parents as well. Some folks said I wouldnt like the people I met at CAL, but the opposite is true: I havent met anyone I didnt like yet!If you want a solid Christian education for your children CAL is a great choice.
We love this school. It fits our family builds on what we teach at home, the academics are wonderful and the sports are awesome! We love being at Christian Academy of Louisville!
I have 2 kids here and we could not be more happy and pleased!! We LOVE our CAL family. They are so so intentional with all they do and we will do whatever we have to to make sure our kids attend there their entire school career. They are CHRIST CENTERED so if you’re looking for a private school with Christian teaching and values and family atmosphere, look no further!!
My daughter loves going to school here. I had to fight with her to get her to go when she was in public school. She comes home smiling and loves the teachers. This is her first year and she has made many friends and we have found the support and prayers we need. You can feel the love when you tour this school. It is not like the rest.
My child graduated from CAL and is now ready to apply to medical school. We just found out about the GEMS (Guaranteed Entrance to Medical School) program that is available to High School Seniors, and if selected they are automatically admitted to UofLs Medical School even before they start college. Isnt it the responsibility of the school and the counselors to provide our students with this information when they are looking into colleges and career choices? Do better, CAL.
Everything I sexpensive especially lunch
I am a student at CAL and I love it because we get to learn more about God and how He died on the cross for us. CAL has taught me how to be thankful for everything that I have and they have a great way of explaining things I cant understand. I love CAL!
This is a wonderful school. Our daughter is on the A-B honor roll is the Learning Lab program. It has been a seedless transition from Meredith Dunn School!
This school is AMAZING great teachers a lot of grace and activities. Recommend This school a lot
The teachers were very good, but I think that the rules were petty.
Great school
Shameful place.
Top Notch. With today’s rapidly changing political and social views you’ll be hard-pressed to find a school that is more grounded in the basic fundamentals of the Christian faith; as well as striving for academic excellence..
As a graduate of CAL (class of 2001) I can tell you that I am still benefiting from the knowledge I gleamed during my time there. The teachers genuinely love their area of focus and care greatly about the education of their students. Wonderful school.
Teachers were good
We need to educate young men and women to prepare them for jobs in STEM.
