April 10-11, 2015. The Academy celebrated its 105 years of service to Louisville, KY. Previously it was known at Louisville Junior Academy. I attended it during my elementary school years. The education started there was sufficient that I eventually earned my doctorate from the University of Notre Dame. After teaching for 40 years I retired, After returning to Louisville I found it growing with a good academic program. As an educator, Id recommend any parent to enroll their child.
Used to be a good school but now i do not feel that way. Went to this school for 6 years middle school is fine but the high school isnt great no real class choices and jr and sr year you take most classes online which at that rate why not just homeschool youre kid?
