My youngest attended Atherton, she said it was by far one of the best schools she attended. The curriculum was great and I was excited to hear about all the sports they offered and activities. Her grades were easily accessible online and her teachers constantly emailed me informing me of her grades. If you’re curently looking for a school to enroll your child in, I would highly recommend Atherton.

The IB program isnt taught well but the rigor of the courses prepares students to succeed in college. There are also many clubs available to students from all social circles and interests but despite the diversity of the school, there are students who are deemed outcasts because of their style or interests. Students are required to take language classes which is very beneficial in allowing students to learn about new cultures which can help them in college. Its not a super clean and architecturally updated school but with the districts budget, you cant really complain. I personally would not send my children to this school because of its social atmosphere nor would I ever go back to this school if I had the option to do so but its high school, nothing special.

Great School, lame health program. (as in contains subtle political bias and otherwise just kinda sucks. The school board recently had a complaint at a meeting, and I will happily change my rating with any update) Otherwise, pretty awesome.

This was an amazing school. I learned so much and had so many friends. I remember it fondly. It may not be the most amazing school ever but they have challenging programs like the IB program and a ton of diversity. I love college and wouldnt go back to high school now but if I went back in time and could choose anywhere to go, Id go back to Atherton.

Its not the best school ever due to the staff unprofessional treatments with students. But it respects diversity and has many different classes and clubs.

I never went to school here, although its the nearest public school serving my neighborhood.
