Mission Martial Arts has been a great experience over my last 5 years. It has impacted my life a ton with being in it as a kid and young teen. It’s very family friendly and not only teaches how to defend yourself but teaches manners and the tenets. I have had so many good experiences with my instructors and love how Black Belts my age get the privilege to help instruct in certain areas.

Started 6 months ago paying every two months if we wanted to continue. Last months payment came out automatically, when it has never before and we weren’t planning on returning, due to School activities starting. I am now paying for a service that we are not attending. I was told they could refund only if they filled his spot. Well they always have more kids there then the website states so I’m sure the spot is filled and they stole my money!!

I have been doing this for about 5 years and have never had a day where I wasn’t encouraged to work hard. This experience completely changed my life.

Ive been training here for over 5 years now, and I couldnt imagine myself training in any other studio for a multitude of reasons, the largest being the encouraging atmosphere. Mission Martial Arts is a family friendly, no contact sparring, environment. They dont focus on only martial arts and self-defense, but also on challenging each student to be a stronger person, physically and mentally, each time they walk in to train.

Im so glad Mission Martial Arts is very innovative, responsive, and tech savvy in handling an unforeseen event during these uncertain times. We miss the in-person classes, but the online video classes make us feel connected. Im looking forward to having the Zoom meetings soon!

Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace, there are numerous scheduling options, the instructors are great, and the senior belts are very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. There are students of all ages, skill levels, and abilities at all ranks; you do not have to worry that you wont fit in if you have ever had interest in trying. If you stick it out and are training for black belt, be prepared to work very hard. But it will be rewarded.

One of the best schools around! If you join us, youll be glad you did.Just earned my 1st Degree black belt in August 2019. The leadership of Mission Martial Arts pushes us to train hard and consistently delivers on our five tenants... Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Pilsung!

I’ve been training with Mission Martial Arts for over 5 years now and still love it. When I first inquired about the classes, I was very concerned about a focus on technique and training style. I still am very concerned about these and am still very satisfied with MMA.This school trains in traditional TKD, and is not all about awards and medals and fighting. There is heightened focus on proper technique, self-improvement, and individual development.Students are encouraged to push the boundaries of their personal bests - and are allowed to progress at their own pace - you rank test when you and your instructor agree you are ready to test, not when a set amount of time or classes has passed. Some take longer, some less long, both are equally OK.It’s also a fun school - they are very family and community focused and truly lived the TKD values: Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit. There are several special events and functions put on by the school year round that enhance the training experience and/or improve community. My personal favorite class is the Adult (only) Class which allows for the kind of training focus and vigor that is difficult to get with young ones in class. I get a great workout every time and also feel like I am given more opportunity to practice and refine my higher belt knowledge and skill with every class.

Excellent source of training and education for a great price. Both learning and teaching Taekwondo at this Dojang has been a joy and the Manwells are very warm and welcoming.
