I absolutely loved everything about this daycare until a couple of weeks ago. The owner decided to sell the center with no notice to the parents. The day the parents were notified was the same day the new owner moved in. Instead of introducing himself, the first thing the new owner did was make sure the parents were aware of auto pay and ask that they complete the form before leaving. I asked for the new policies at least 3 times and never received them. However, the owner was sure to voice the changes without providing the parents with the information. They will no longer be offering vacation days to the parents. The teachers work hours have been cut and they will no longer receive holiday pay. The teachers at this center were absolutely wonderful and definitely deserve so much more. They were already having to work overtime, so I really dont see how the classrooms are going to remain in ratio. The lunch menu also drastically changed. One day, my kids were served baked beans, carrots, mashed potatoes and bread for lunch and cheese (no crackers) for snack. Also, the kids are not allowed to get refills on milk. I must say that I am so heartbroken over this because my kids loved the center and their teachers. While I tried not to judge the owner based on the reviews specifically about him from his other centers in Bowling Green (Smart Start), he definitely didnt make me feel comfortable. The reviews were quite disgusting. If he does not like what you are saying, he pretty much cuts you off and moves on to the next person. There was no way I was going to continue to allow my children to attend this center. I really hope our teachers find somewhere else to go where they will get better treatment and paid what they are worth. I am only giving this place two stars because of the teachers that are still there, but I doubt they will be there for long.

I have found this to be a very Good daycare. The staff are very friendly and the center looks and smells clean. The cook fixes great meals when you walk in you smell food cooking it makes me want to stay and eat with my child. The office Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ms Charlotte does a great job running the center. The owner is around and she is nice as well. the Teachers work with the children, my daughter is learning how to count in Spanish. I have looked at other centers and I found this one to be above the others. Every staff person I have came into contact with has been friendly and they seem to put the children first and make learning fun. I love the art work my child brings home. This is the best daycare I have found and I plan on keeping my child here for a long time. Great Job Advanced Learning Center!!!!

My daughter has been here for 5 yrs and we love it! VERY CLEAN...I love when I walk in it smells like bleach, its always clean, Ive never had a problem here! Food is great, staff is very respectful and nice and my daughter loves the staff and they love her. Great place to bring your child!!!

Great place to send your child. We have been to one other daycare and compared to that I love his place. Great on security, the kids to Teacher ratio is always good and my child is thriving. Check them out. Oh and great hours!

Awesome daycare! I dont believe theres a better daycare in the area! Ive tried out plenty of daycares and this is by far the best; been using this daycare for about 5 years for my 4 children. Great, clean, learning environment.

I love this daycare, my Daughter has been going here since she was two. shes almost five years old and the staff is wonderful. my daughter also has a lung disease and they have been very proactive with me on keeping her healthy. i have seen some teachers talk loudly with students, they do color charts and they let the students know what they did wrong. My son has been going here since he was about four months old hes almost 13 months old and again the staff is amazing. i havent seen anything that i havent liked nor agreed with.

I have had my son enrolled for over a month here. It is always clean, and the staff in the nursery have been working well with my son and will not only give a verbal report of his day, but provide the written activity report. Ms. Charlotte attends to concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. Overall, I have been highly satisfied with this facility.

I love this daycare!! I trust the staff and have seen improvement in my child since he has attended there. My son is happy there and thriving. He loves all the teachers there and I would recommend this daycare to anyone! You wont regret choosing ALC! This is by far one of the best daycares in the area.

Ive worked at daycares my whole life and while I do not work at this one, Im proud to say that my daughter attends it. Tuition fee has gone up twice since April, but other than that; it is always clean, the staff are great at their jobs, the kids get plenty of food, the kids get outside time every day, and if there is a problem the office staff and teachers work their hardest to solve it.They are under new ownership and struggled at first (not enough teachers for rooms and a few other small things) but have gotten everything together. They are redoing the playground so that it will have less bugs and fixing the upstairs so the preschool children will have more room. Im excited to see how they advance in continuing to make the daycare better.

My son started this daycare when he was 1 year old. I found bruises on his arm form an adult when he was 2 years old. I called cps and state. I removed him immediately. And this just happened in 2015!!! Never send your child. They are not learning most teachers are on their phones and not even watching the kids. The teachers yell at the kids. Please never send ur child!! I dont want what happened to my son to happen to any other child!!

The staff is amazing. My son Jayden has been there since he was born he is now 4. At the time a newly single father and at times virtually no help it was rough but the staff ,my sons caregivers were there always without fail to help the both of us. I also at times fell behind in tuition payments during hard times and they were very understanding. Ive seen mothers in tears because of the recent cuts to 4Cs now 3Cs not knowing what to do & staff talking to them offering any helpful advicle they may have and if nothing else lending an empathetic ear. I have 2 other kids that also attend there who have fun but also learn as well. Advance learning center and its staff has been a godsend and a blessing to me and my family. I cant begin to thank them enough and should have a long time ago. I hope this review can be a start.

I was referred to this place from a childcare professional for both of my kids. There are a few pros and cons. Pros, I like the individual classrooms. Most of the centers I toured around the city were in one huge area and had dividers which I look at as a negative bc children are easily distracted and have a harder time learning. Another thing I liked is the number of staff they had at the facility. Again, many of the preschools in the city had owners and directors filling in for teachers, not good in my opinion. They also are under the stars program and have received 2 stars according to the director Ms. Charlotte. Another positive is that they will work with you regarding payment. I also enjoy Ms. Hope and Ms. Stephanie. They seem to really enjoy their job and know what they are doing. The Cons, my only negative is that some of the younger assistant teachers get easily frustrated with the children and yell at them. The more seasoned professional are much more appropriate and calm. In a nut shell, they are pretty descent for what they charge and they do accept 4 C. I have toured many facilities around the city. Some were fabulous but you had to sell your soul for the price and they didnt accept 4 C. Others were ghetto and ratchet and all you had to do was buy a pack of ciggs for staff and you were good! (lol...JK). So either way, good preschool for what it is worth.
