Thank you for gifts that continue to grow, Ill be forever grateful. My son would not be as happy, as smart, as friendly as he is...if not for these incredibly skilled, dedicated, and talented folks. Such an amazing crew and environment for learning!

My grandson has been with the wonderful teachers at KinderCare for almost 3 years and has been in several classrooms appropriate for his age as he has matured. He is advanced for his age in part due to the curricula provided by KinderCare. His family (parents, grandparents and more) support the monthly curriculum through play and discussion, which has resulted in a polite, curious and engaging little guy. I highly recommend the Herr Lane KinderCare. Luckily for our grandson and his classmates his preschool learning has continued safely through the pandemic. We owe many thanks to the administrators and teachers for their dedication.

Both of our kids have attended KinderCare at Herr lane from when they were infants. Both the kids love it and are really excited every time we pull into the drop off area as they have loved their teachers every step of the way. The daily activities and lesson plans are great, and the daily pictures and updates throughout the day on the app are a pleasure for us parents. Feel very confident and reassured sending your children here for care and education.

I never have to worry about my infant getting care and love ❤️ The staff adore him and judging by his smile, he loves them, too. Great place to let children interact. I highly recommend.

Our 4.5yo and 2yo kids have been at KinderCare Herr Lane since we moved to town a little over two years ago. Our family LOVES it there. The kids are both growing and learning so much daily. They adore and respect their teachers. They miss their friends on weekends. We will keep them both there until kindergarten, no question. The Center Director, Ms. Val and her staff have done an amazing job communicating with families during COVID and making sure the center is as safe as possible for everyone. They have gone to great lengths to accommodate family needs while remaining compliant with state regulations. We have also specifically had positive experiences with: bottle feeding breastmilk to our daughter as an infant, working through early speech concerns with our daughter, potty training our older son. We love the app for updates. Pre-COVID our son enjoyed the music class and soccer program and we look forward to those resuming. I can’t say enough positive things. So happy to have found this wonderful fit for our family.

My daughter started attending KinderCare when she was 2.5 years old. We have had a great experience. I teach next door at Ballard, so I love that I can easily make it to her parties and special events. I have had the pleasure of eating lunch there a couple of times. I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food was. In fact, I think the great food has contributed to my daughter being a very healthy eater. I love that they have fresh fruit and vegetables every day to try. When my daughter enter and exits the center, they usually have fresh fruit and crackers for the kids to take. This is such a blessing when we are in the elementary school carpool line. Rather than whining that she is hangry, she has a healthy snack. She has participated in music classes and phonics classes. She loves both. There are several wonderful teachers who have been there many years. And there are kind, caring younger teachers as well.I appreciate that the center stays on top of current child development research. They have two professional development days during the year. And I see evidence that they implement their training to ensure they are educating the whole child.

I would give at least 3 stars but sadly I cant. My child went there when she was 2 and I took her out because I wanted more family time. Once I went back to school I took her back there at 3 she is potty trained but of course she is three and accidentals happen here and there. But then she started to come home wet and teachers didnt know how it happened or had some excuses on how it did. Plus, you dont ask a three year is she has to potty you take them potty. Now that was one problem, the second problem was the director. I get 3cs Im a single mother who is in school. She kept asking me for things that I couldnt give her because Im not the provider and was trying to get me pay 210 a week because my 3cs wasnt paying her but I called my case worker and they said they had everything that they needed and my case worker told me that problem wasnt my fault because the daycare should be getting paid. So, at the end of the day I took my child out because I felt disrespected. Its sad to write this review but its needed.

They are ok. They were very expensive though. The registration was very high, they dont accept changing schedules and going part time cost almost as much as going full time. The teachers were nice enough but it felt sort of sterile all over. In the end we decided to to take the boys to a place called genesis in old Louisville. It just had a much more homey feeling to it. Plus they are more flexible and almost half the price.

The reasons behind my critical rating for this Kindercare center are many. There were minor annoyances such as the extremely liberal use of baby wipes and deliberately teaching my child to say wah-wah rather than water (it took us about two months to break this habit). Then there were the mid-level issues such as losing my childs clothing and one of the employees offering an inappropriate level of input into the decisions I make for my child. We had socks, jackets and even a pair of shoes that were lost and never found over the course of the year my child attended the facility. As to the questioning of my parenting, one of the classroom teachers felt that my little boys hair was too long and continually pestered me and made up stories about him complaining to her in an attempt to get me to style his hair in a way that she felt was appropriate (hes 24 lbs and it was a cold winter, Ill let his hair grow longer to better insulate him). The higher level problems I had were around the lack of supervision and the complete absence of discipline in the classroom. When I would pick up my child, generally the teachers would be gathered together talking and paying little attention to what was happening with the kids. My child would come home with unnoticed bite marks and, while he was still in the toddler room, got a scratch so deep on his face that it has left a minor scar. The discipline that is provided is nothing more than talking to the child; timeout is apparently viewed as cruel. I continually told the teacher in my childs classroom that if he was bad to have him stand with his nose to the wall, but she refused to implement this punishment that works with my child. The last day my child was at the facility one of the employees told me there are no bad children, just bad behavior which is the most ignorant comment I heard from them - you dont have to teach a child to be selfish, push or hit, you have to teach them not to do those things. There were also major causes for concern that put my childs well being in danger. While playing outside on the playground the teachers would let my child stuff his mouth full of mulch on a continual basis and one day, when I picked him up, I had to remove a good handful from his mouth. The fact that he could choke on this, as well as the distinct unsanitary nature of this practice, was apparently lost on the employees. Finally, one day in January I received a phone call that my child had developed a fever of 101 and I was asked to come pick him up, but when I arrived to get him I found him outside on the playground laying face down in the dirt. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of abject carelessness and I honestly should have reported the center to the state as this is nothing short of neglect (I truly regret not doing so). While not every employee at this facility is as wreckless as I have described here, the bad far outweighs the good (the assistant director, Cindy, as well as Marcy, Mia, Whitney and a couple others, whose names I simply cant remember, really are great - but they should honestly clean house beyond these few, including the facility director, Valentina). I have written a lot here, and I could honestly list a whole lot more but I feel that the justification for the poor rating I have given this facility has been sufficiently established. Raising complaints with Kindercare places you the persona non grata list (they treated my wife and I completely differently after a concern we raised) so these issues couldnt be addressed while my child still attended. Kindercare talks a good talk when you take a tour with them, but walking the walk is something quite different. I will never allow another child of mine to step foot into a Kindercare again, especially not this center. I should have removed my little boy months ago and for not doing so I am guilty, but its my hope that others learn from my experience. For the safety of your child, stay far away from this facility until a major overhaul has been done.

I would give them 4 stars because of my son learning alot. But they only get one be ause the way they just spoke to me. So im a single mom that gets ccap and apparently i didnt realize my contract was up but i acted quickly upon it to get things approved and done. Well today i called them and asked is my son allowed back even though i cant pay until next Friday because thats when i get paid and they know i pay them. Anyways they said no not until you pay us he cant come back. So i said thanks. So than i called back to explain that i am going to pay them but it just wont be on time . than she went on to say i owed another 210 so she was like your at 420. I was like i thought i paid this week and she saod no you didnt. So i explained to her i am not rich i can only pay what i can next friday. Well if your not rich dont come here. She totally tore me down for not being rich . so i guess because im not rich my son cant go here. She yelled at me too and hung the phone up. Valentina fee is worst director ever.
