My son has been coming to Rocket City Martial Arts just over a year now. He is greeted at every class by his name, they all understand and respect his limits while encouraging him to push forward. I feel so lucky to have found a very personable place for my child to learn and grow. This is like family and I would recommend them 100%.

I really wasnt expecting much when I decided to give the self defense class a try, because I had some self defense training when I was in the military. I was really surprised and impressed!! It turns out that Matt (the instructor) combines multiple martial arts techniques into easy to use (and remember) ways of defending yourself. It was great for someone more aggressive (like myself) who needs to work off some frustration. It was also great for the people (in my same class!), who were more timid by nature and had never even thought of being physical with someone. As unlikely as it seems, BOTH types of personalities can enjoy this class and excel at techniques which hopefully they wont ever need to use. I recommend it for all women and all personality types/experience levels.

BEST DOJO EVER!!!!!!I interviewed, did trial classes, and met the owners of 4 other local dojos before we finally found RCMA. This place checks off all my boxes (and I am admittedly quite picky), my kids are thriving here and have been for years, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!!!!
