I cant recommend School of Rock highly enough. They have a cool and nurturing atmosphere for kids who are interested in performing music and singing. They wisely blend individual lessons, with group lessons so the kids get to experience what its like to be in a band. Were grateful for SOR!

School of Rock has been an amazing experience for my son. In the past year I have not only seen his skill as a guitar player and musician sky rocket, but also his confidence, as well. Having a show to look forward to gives my son motivation to practice, an opportunity to bond socially with band members and work together as a team, and a genuine sense of accomplishment and pride following the performance. Before school of rock, my son enjoyed playing guitar and was taking lessons but did not know how to apply that skill within the context of a band, with other musicians. Giving him the opportunity to participate in School of Rock has been well worth it.

My daughter Abby has tried different theater programs, piano lessons, acting camps and things of that nature but School of Rock has really been the place that she consistently enjoys. She never hesitates about attending weekly vocal lessons or band rehearsals. She always goes from one session to the next without question...Of course I want you to sign me up for the next band program! It has become a place of new and lasting friendships, new skills and newly found patience with herself as she does have days where she just cant hit that note!As a parent I continue to be impressed with the School of Rocks communication, flexibility with rescheduling and desire to showcase the students talent. Im always tempted to join the adult program because it just looks like fun!Thank you!

This place rocks!! I walk by the building most evenings. I found myself really missing live music during the pandemic. Oftentimes I will pause and listen to a few songs as the bands inside conduct their rehearsals. In covid reality this is this close as I can get to a concert experience

Great instructors! Great safety protocols and flexibility during Covid. Grateful for the ability for remote lessons so that my children could continue their lessons while mandatory quarantining from their schools.

Love the premise of School of Rock ... combining an individual lesson with the chance to integrate w/ band members of similar musically level. And this works as well for the younger (pre-teen) kids as it does the adults (many of us w/ kids in their 20s). Mike M is doing a great job managing and herding the adult band. Treats us all w/ respect, while communicating the necessary messages of where we need to get better. Love the fact that we get to perform gigs at local bars and breweries.Love my drum sessions w/ Jake. For folks who always wanted to play in a Rock n Roll band ... nows your chance. Nothing is stopping you. Give School of Rock a call.

Ive required that my daughter play an instrument since she was 4--with much resistance and moaning by her. But since starting at SoR, my daughter now loves guitar and calls herself a musician! She even practices without being asked!!

My son a year ago had never held a drumstick. This past Sunday he was on stage performing with other SoR kids in front of 150 people at a venue that reminded me of college days ;) It was unbelievable. His progress over the last 12 months has been obvious and demonstrated.Brandon, Matt, The Mikes, Grace and Blake are incredible teachers and mentors.

The School of Rock has devised a successful formula for getting the attention of young people: a relaxed atmosphere of coolness combined with talented, fun teachers who clearly want to share their time, skills, and understanding of musicianship. Kids are happy just to BE at this place. It isnt like sitting in a private teachers living room repeating rote-learned scales - the learning is much more intuitive, so the kids learn by ear and instinct first and therefore they gain a knowledge of both their instruments and how songs are put together at a deeper level. Madison School of Rock inspires the kids innate love of music.
