My kids have been here for years (on and off) and my oldest is now in whale at Deming location where the pool is slightly bigger and probably best for the higher level kids to be at competition level if thats the goal. Staff have always been great at all levels and Id like say today I saw the greatest, most helpful instructor yet at whale level, Mr. Williams, I think. I saw more improvements in one swimming lesson than the entire summer worth thanks to his tips and attentiveness throughout the entire lesson. Im thankful for the wonderful and patient staff at both locations.

The staff at Swim West have been so wonderful and encouraging in working with our 4 year old who was extremely hesitant in participating in his first few lessons. The deck manager proactively came over to talk with me about ideas they had to help make him feel comfortable. The teacher was always encouraging and upbeat even though our little one was crying and not interacting for most of the class. By class #3, our son was fully participating, laughing, and proud after class. We would definitely recommend Swim West!

30 min class is actually 30/4 minutes once a week and basic math tells me that it is roughly 7.5 minutes per week per child.Considering 4.2 weeks per month, it will be 30-ish minutes for 81$. It might worth it but definitely it is pricy!I will update post in couple months based on result.

Absolutely outstanding experience. After trying places in waunakee and sauk city, we are so pleased with the progress our daughter has made in such a short period of time. She loves her instructor (Emily) and has grown to love swimming. Thanks for the great job you all do. Highly recommend.

Hands down - the BEST place for lessons. Kids make real progress at each lesson & the instructors are outstanding. Fun & educational swimming programs for kids.

A very good swim school

My kids love swim lessons at Swim West! They have made more progress here than in many years of summer swim lessons. It is definitely worth it. Lessons are fun and encouraging. And their teachers have been patient, yet still nudge the kids forward. Highly recommend!

Our kids have been taking lessons at the West location for years and love it. The pool is kept very warm so it’s never a problem getting in the pool. Scheduling is very flexible, so far we have always been able to find lesson times that work for us, even with kids in different levels.

My daughter started swimming in SwimWest when she was a baby, it was a really nice memory for us. We really liked it, because the teachers were always nice and encouraging little ones to go further steps, the water is warm in winter so little ones wont feel cold. We highly recommend it other families.

My boys grew up swimming at SwimWest and various other swimming programs. They always preferred SwimWest because the pool and pool deck are kept nice and warm. I like how they keep their class sizes small so they get a lot of one-on-one time. The instructors have been nothing short of fantastic, too. Highly recommend!

Weve been coming here for around six months with our two year old. He absolutely loves it! All the teachers he had had have been wonderful and great with children and all of the other staff are friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

Our kids love Swimwest! Our little 2 yo struggled with getting in the water without parents, but the instructors were super sensitive to his needs. They gently helped push him. We’ve seen so much progress in the last couple months and he keeps asking for more! Also, we always have fabulous communication - both via phone and email. So helpful as a parent when you’re juggling so many things!

SwimWest is a great place to take your kids to learn how to swim! The facility is clean and the staff are incredible! They really go above and beyond to make a familys experience enjoyable - always smiling and encouraging kids to get excited about swimming and water safety!

My family has swam here for over 6 years. It has provided both of my kids the confidence they need to be strong and safe swimmers. Every instructor has been top-notch. The facility is always clean and the staff is extremely helpful with any questions I have had. We enjoy family swim. The remodel of both facilities is beautiful! I was really excited about SwimWest at first - we read all the great reviews and came recommended from a friend with an older child who has swam with them for a long time. However, after two months I am disappointed by the amount of actual swimming time my son would get - about 5 minutes and 30 seconds (we timed it) per 30 minute lesson. The other approximately 24 minutes he was sitting on the pools edge waiting for his turn. I think for the cost of these lessons the value is not there and well be exploring other swimming schools in the area.

The instructors are great and really take time to make sure your child is comfortable in the water. Staff is very responsive to questions and helpful. The facility itself is clean and clearly well taken care of.

My son currently is in the Parent Tot class and we love both instructors that we have had; Ms. Alison and Ms.Jenny, they have been great at helping me to find new ways to continue pushing him to learn more. Great to have something to do in the cold Wisconsin winters.

The trainers never provides feedback on areas of improvement, instead they will never let your kids to the next level.Despite telling many a times, there were no action taken. Overall, it was a bad experience....I have informed this many many times & I have been with Swim west for last 4 years & was planning to put my younger one get enrolled this week, but with the yesterdays experience, I have cancelled both my kids membership.

Have had a great experience with our daughter in the Parent Tot class. She enjoys the songs and splashing!

Best place to learn swimmingThey do an awesome job training their people, so teaching at every level is consistently excellent. Swimming is fun, but its also a safety skill, and they take it very seriously.

We love it at SwimWest! The staff is wonderful. Our little guy looks forward to coming every week!

I owe this great team a review for long time. We have been with Swim West at Deming way since 2011. Both my son and my daughter like the staff and teachers here. Kim, Abby, Kassy, Andy, Ashley, Sara, and other staff that I could not remember their names. They are always patient, friendly and try to help. Being with them for more than 6 years, there have been many many times that I seek help from the staff and teachers. They always either help me or direct me to the right person. I always wondered who their big boss is. I found it out this week...It was the night of Wednesday, August 9. I will never forget it because I was so worried before I met with Karen and I was so grateful afterward. At about 8:20 PM, I found it out that I left my laptop at Swim West Deming Way after my sons make-up class. The practice was already closed. I was so worried not for the laptop but for the works and items due before EOD that day. I had my promise. I called the phone number and left message. I searched and found they have a text message option. I was desperate and sent a message to the option even though I realize how late it was. I could not believe that I got response a few minutes later. The person who responded said she can hand it to me on the next day. However, after she knew that I need the laptop to work that night, she immediately said she will drive to the gym and asked me to meet her over there. 12 minutes later, I met her at Swim West gym. She opened the door and I found my laptop on the chair where I left. It was almost 9 PM in the night. I appreciated it so much. I asked what her name is and how I can show my appreciation. She said she is the owner and her name is Karen. She said dont worry about it. I am glad they have a way for you to contact me. Karen probably has no idea what impact she just made. But I know if there is ever a time when I feel I am so proud of being in this neighborhood and with Swim West, it is that Wednesday night! I told myself that I need to start get involved with the neighborhood. Dont use too busy as excuse. No more.Thanks Karen. Thanks for having the great practice for the kids. Very disappointing. They promise 4 to 1 children to instructor ratio just to cramp 7 kids per one instructor! The kids dont even get 5 mins of 1 on 1 lesson with so many in the group.

There is this great swim instructor there Nikki! All of the staff is fabulous!!

Great teaching, but otherwise disgusting and unclean. Some kid pooped on the pool and it took the employees FOREVER to get out.

Great teachers. Facilities (outside of pool) dont seem to be repaired in a timely manner.
