It definitely helps open a path for you to start in the medical career. You get hands on training as well as in the classroom curriculum. The staff and teachers are always there to help and want you to succeed. It’s a welcoming place the moment you walk in, and you’ll be sure to make many great connections. A great place to take your first steps towards the medical career.

I will never recommend this school, claim is nonprofit but do worry about business money, I enrol my brother for ESL and we were ready to start school the next day and Martha call us to say they did not have at 5 students in class signed up so my brother was left handed, they suggested to give him a private class but we will have to pay more money, also they did not refunded the $50 dollars application fee even that was their fault not ours, be careful with this school they do not care about the students they just care about the business and the money. I found that the bull Run library have ESL program and the classes are given by professionals volunteers and they also have conversations classes as well, look well around before you guys sign up for private school like Astar they just want your money and they won’t care.

I had the best of my time studying with Astar. I was particularly glad to have instructors like Mrs. Margaret and Ms. Mambo as well as my classmates. The staff was so understanding and helpful right from the day I went there to make inquiries till the day we graduated. Certainly recommend

I had a great time during clinicals. I had the best instructor I could have asked for Mrs. Charlene was just awesome.

The testing environment was very clean, quiet, and perfect for my certification exam (with disable earplugs!). The gentleman at the front desk was very professional and helpful throughout the registration process. This Manassas location is convenient and very accessible. I will definitely take future tests here!

I had a great experience at this testing center. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. I had a head cold when I was there and he offered me cough drops and brought me tissues while I was testing. A very nice and unexpected touch. I hope to take more exams there in the future. Convenient location in Manassas, as well.

Good test center. Plenty of parking and lockers provided. Only thing they could do to improve would be to accept walk ins, IMO. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Hi everyone, I graduated from Astar Education Institute in December 2018. When I receive my CNA and I was super excited. The CNA teachers were professional, patient and understanding to go over the class information with us. The Director was extremely helpful and gave us a party to celebrate the completion of of our class. Thank you Astar!

Very nice and clean place, staff was very friendly and helpful. I took a 4 hour test there and would certainly take any other test I had to there as well. Would recommend it highly as a test taking center.

I graduated from Astar Institute for CNA September 2019 . i met all my expectations in astar , the teachers are very good they know what they doing it only took 1 month to do the classes and now thanks to Astar I can star my career in the nursing field. I graduated today and already put applications on their positions available.

Came here to take an exam at their center and the lady that checked me in was very nice and everything went well until until half through my exam when some lady started screaming in the background for a while.I see another reviewer mention this lady in a prior post. This is unacceptable

Fake 5 star reviews. Asks for too much money considering this is supposed to be a non-profit. who is the money helping since its not helping any students?? Teachers dont have actual degrees but they claim staff has a bachelor or master. They will take your money and rip you off. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!! Ask to see their accreditation. They have NONE. Do your research. I know a few people who got their fake certification here and didnt even pass any exam let alone get a job. The owner is loud and racist to anyone who is not Chinese. Save your money and go to ECPI, NOVA, or ultimate health. State needs to audit them

Completed multiple certification exams here, a very nice, quiet environment for test taking. Its my go-to Pearson VUE testing location.

I would highly disagree with others on here and say that the testing room is often cramped with barely any room to stretch. The dated computers and the poor shaky screens make it hard to stare at for longer than 20 minutes. Investing in operational computers from this decade would make it less of an eye strain especially when the exams cost a lot! The chairs are flimsy and are not ideal for normal adults. I cannot imagine a heavier set person trying to take an exam here. If you have an open notes exam, dont bother taking an exam here. There is no room for you to lay your books without knocking another computer over.

Excellent institute, got my CNA certificate, excellent classes, received support from the beginning at the end until I got my license from V.A. State and I got a quick job thanks to them.

Astar helped me get into Georgetown University for a masters program in 2018, which is my dream school. It is a great opportunity.

If youre looking to take a proctored exam here through Pearson Vue. Dont. The lady who set me up was wonderful. Though once the exam started someone in the next room started getting real loud. And it stayed that way for the majority of the testGreat testing environment Astar. I complained to Pearson Vue, but wont likely mean anything. So, Ill warn others here as well.

Went to give a standardized test here (Pearson VUE). Good location, easy to find and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice and got me in for my test quickly.

Host families are very good,teachers are very friendly and patient.If you want to improve your English, this language school is a good choice.
