My niece treated me with a very intriguing birthday outing. Ballet On Wheels was my granddaughters first ballet & play. It was an excellent experience for her & 3 generations. The girls were well poised, quite professional.I would recommend an evening out for great entertainment with Ballet On Wheels!

I absolutely loved This school. My daughter went there before we moved and loved it. The teachers are professional and talented. They give the girls confidence, poise, grace, and endurance. They encourage them the entire class and always give time to those who need it. My child always left with a smile and was delighted when she performed in the recitals. She felt like a star and that was worth more than anything I could have hoped for. I recommend this school for anyone looking for a diverse, centric, educational, and passionate ballet program.

Ballet On Wheels Dance School & Company is a quality organization all around. Their dance studios are one of the best I have ever seen. They feature sprung floors, true-to-life mirrors, a spacious parents lobby and a quaint little dancers lounge for students to gather and discuss topics ranging from the days class to upcoming performances and master classes. This space is their own --a place for them to connect around the subject of the arts or to simply laugh or exchange ideas and dance experiences. Additionally, the performances are fantastic and present an authentic look into the inner workings of their dance training. Finally, I have been a spectator and supporter of Ballet On Wheels Dance School since its inception (13 years) and I have witnessed first hand the residual student benefits, such as collaboration, etiquette, travel, arts and culture exposure, community service, and innovative arts projects.

When I met Karen Z., about a decade ago, I was thrilled with her enthusiasm for the art of dance. A former student and teacher, Mrs. Z had a zeal for the subject that equaled none I had ever witnessed before and have not since found in Memphis. I must admit that I have visited several dance schools throughout the years and I have even recently been asked my opinion of some in my community only to recommend BOW (and New Ensemble). Not to take anything away from what anyone else is doing, this is just my personal preference as the programs these organizations offer and the instructors they employ impressed me - something that is not very easy to do. So, if you are thinking about enrolling a child in dance, you have my suggestions!

The revered ballerina, Misty Copeland, mused that “ballet is an extremely difficult job and it takes a lot out of you physically, but it’s just as much about mental discipline.” Hats off to the artistic director and staff of Ballet on Wheels for great ingenuity in preparing students for the physical and mental demands of ballet and other dance techniques. BOW student performances are noteworthy and are proof of its staff’s dedication to crafting skillful dancers, according to individual ability. It is without pause that I recommend the company to anyone who desires a strong dance foundation for his or her child.

Ballet On Wheels Dance School & Company is an excellent organization and dance school where young girls can learn dance! I have attended a couple of their performances including their Youth Classical Concert & their dance rendition of Annie and I was thoroughly entertained with the dancers and their performances.

I’ve been a dancer with BOW for 8 years, and I’ve grown to love it more and more. As soon as you come you’ll be welcomed into the dance family.

BOWs is a great program. My daughter participated in one of their Summer Camps. She had tons of fun. I did some photography for the school during their preparation for one of their ballets.They have great students & great teachers.
