We have been going to this school for over a year now and we love our Wrights ATA Family!! My daughter has grown up so much, because of the life lessons that are taught along side the martial arts. I have been taking classes now and it is a great, fun workout. I can take classes with my child, but then also enjoy me time with the adult classes.

I had been wanting to get my 5yo into a martial arts schools. So, for my birthday I received a trial membership for my son. It was one of the best gifts Ive ever gotten and one that continues to give. Mr. Wright (and staff) are 110% involved with the students and classes. Welcoming all abilities, ages and skill levels are welcomed and its not just a school, its a family.The instructors are incredible in not only their knowledge of the art of Taekwando but also their interaction with and teaching of the students.My son is always excited and eager to be there and brings the lessons hes learned home with him and into everyday life; regarding bullying, confidence, respect, listening, etc. Its amazing how far hes been able to progress under the tutelage of Mr.Wright and his awesome staff of instructors and student helpers who work side by side with the class to make sure every student excels.Yes, they are going to learn some really cool punches and kicks. But, they will also learn respect, courtesy, discipline and honor.

I think that was so entertaining.From start to finish. Cant wait to go back.

This is now under new ownership - now Kos ATA (formerly Wrights ATA). We joined this school right before the big Covid outbreak this year. Our young daughter loved everything so much from day 1 so we signed her up. The Ko family and staff have been incredible, even when we are now required to socially distance and stay at home, they have found great ways to try to motivate the kids, zoom classes and challenges. We miss the in-person feel of love and warmth from the Kos but theyre doing an incredible job keeping things up given the circumstances. We hope one day soon we can go back to in-person classes.

We were amazed and shocked… in the best way possible!! Karate for Kids, Wright’s Martial Arts and the instructors are the best in any kids activity anywhere! My son has mild autism - started at 3 years old - and hes now 15. He has blossomed into a strong, confident leader. Hes a starter on his football team and track... just got all As in high school his freshman year... and has lots off friends!I truly believe this is all because he walked in that school when he was three. Thanks Karate for Kids and Wright’s Martial Arts!!! You have really helped him grow into a strong confident man!!Any parent who is thinking about having their child do martial arts at Wright’s Martial Arts needs to stop thinking and get started – I am so glad I started my son at 3 and didn’t wait till he was older. This was the best thing – by far – that I have ever done for my kid!

The instructors at this martial arts school are amazing! Following the leadership of Mr. Thomas Wright, each student is given individualized attention. My 6-yr.old loves becoming a ninja and has greatly improved in focus and attention. There are plenty of class sessions to choose from, so we can always find a convenient time for him to attend. We have no regrets at all about choosing Wrights ATA Martial Arts!!

A fantastic way to get into shape, learn an amazing art form, build confidence, and have fun! From toddler to adult, the instructors are incredible at encouraging everyone to do their best and become better. My entire family loves this place and what it has done for us. Keep up the great work!!

Our daughter started with a Groupon promo and we quickly signed up. Her confidence has improved with every belt she has earned all the way to a black belt at age 8!! She attends 3-5 classes a week and loves to go! The instructors are awesome working with children.

Solid leadership. Respectful instructors. Quality skill training in a fun environment for kids and adults alike. The emphasis on character development is priceless. Great school.

Wrights ATA is a fantastic place for development, discipline, and self defense. I have seen a huge difference in my daughters skills and behavior inside/outside of the school. The staff is great with all the students and do their best to see each child or adult succeed.

I cant recommend Wrights ATA highly enough. The difference in discipline and focus in my 6 year old is incredible. He is the most respectful student in his class at school. I attribute a lot of that to his ATA training. This is the best taekwondo program for kids (and adults) in Memphis.

Mr. Wright runs a program of excellence incorporating physical fitness and character development.

This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. I bought a Groupon for 16 classes for my grandson to take. We felt it would be good for helping him with discipline and get him active. This would give him a chance to see if this was for him and keep him active over the summer. Everything was going great during the orintation until they preceded to tell me about their other program, that came with a high price tag. I was polite and told them we were not ready for that program and could not afford that at the present time. I told him my understanding was the Groupon covered 16 lessons and a uniform. He ignored that comment and keep pushing and discussing the higher program. He left two times and came back trying to talk me into it. Then the owner came in and was pushy. All the time my grandson is sitting through this thinking he does not going to be able to take the classes because we cant afford it. The owner got mad and slinged the paper at me and said well he can come one of these days each week till the Groupon expires. I felt bullied and my grandson was upset. He would not even go back to take his classes we bought with Groupon.

They are caring and they love their students and respect them!! they treat u like family and i have been there 5 years and will never ever consider changing schools
