The teachers are nice but the owner and office administrator are something else. While attending school there she contracted the hands foot mouth disease and so did other students. She missed over a week of school. When I brought her back I was told my daughter couldnt attend unless she paid for the week she did not attend including a late fee on top of that plus the current weeks tuition. Since its primarily a government funded daycare and they dont get paid for the weeks that a child doesnt attend theyre extorting it from us. That is absolutely ridiculous. On top of that the school doesnt go on trips and doesnt do anything fundamentally nourishing not to take away from the sweet teachers who follow have to follow the curriculum.

Here at The Children’s Cottage LLC, we are committed to providing a fun-filled, rewarding program that balances each child’s intellectual, physical, social, creative and emotional needs.Hand, Foot and Mouth disease is a common contagious viral infection in infants and children. At the Children’s Cottage LLC, steps are taken to control the spread of contagious diseases and to manage illness, in accordance with recognized guidelines. Once the center is made aware of a confirmed case of a contagious disease, we will inform all families and teachers of the presence of the disease. At which time, all items in the rooms are sanitized and disinfected.At the time of enrollment, all parents are provided a copy of the parent handbook outlining the tuition and fees policy on absences.Due to insurance liability, we are only able to provide field trips for the Pre-K and school Age children. They have visited the Memphis Zoo, Children’s Museum and other local sites. We do offer in house field trips that include the entire center. The Fire Department, McGruff the Crime Dog, and Happy Times Farm have visited the Children’s Cottage, LLC.The curriculum taught at the Children’s Cottage, LLC follows the required guidelines of the State of Tennessee – DHS Child Care Services.Sincerely,The Children’s Cottage LLC Management Team
