I cant say Im impressed with this school. The staff dont really make me feel welcomed here and it took until 2nd grade for my son to get the help he needed and be put in Special Education. So far my youngest is doing okay in kinder as far as I know and I like her teacher. Overall Im not happy with this school and they will be going to a new school next year (thanks to us moving).

I went to that school I loved it I was a part of the student council that was amazing. The staff to there is fantastic! It was my favorite school I gone to four schools since then. I would totally recommend it.

I’ve been a student there since the first grade. (I’m now in 7th) I have learned a lot of life lessons from that school and overall its a GREAT school. I do agree with one of the other reviews, that the people in the front office was a little “cold”. I was personally targeted by one of the people in the front office. But not to worry that person moved away from the school. There are great teachers there, no doubt about it. The lunch is okay but I’d rather pack lunch instead. Most if not all students that graduate from that school WILL meet all the requirements to attend middle school. The 6th grade teachers will prepare students for middle school as well.Field tripsField trips are a big one. If you don’t want your student to go decent ways away from the school, then some of these field trips I wouldn’t let your child attend. Some big ones are; ‘Carchner caverns’ where your student is on the subject of minerals and goes to a cave to explore and learn.Another is ‘Science Camp’ (in sixth grade) I’m not quite sure where it is to this day BUT this field trip is one of the best memories of my school experience. They teach you A LOT about wildlife. Your students will be in great hands. The parents can go as well. But all sixth grade teachers will be there as well as chaperones. The lunch they serve there is free and really good. It costs around $100 per child to attend to the field trip.That is just a basic summary about this school. I would really recommend it. The only reason why I personally didn’t rate it a 5 star is because of the staff that didn’t treat me the best.

I’m attending this school .It’s very strait forward with perpering you for the next grade but some substitute are straight up rude to the students and my 4th grade teacher left half way through the year my new teacher is great !!! The special needs teacher’s are so mean To the non special needs kids and other peers can be nice or not it’s just depends on the student and lunch is pretty ok and filled trips are so much fun for me and my friend’s I don’t now about the other kids though.in my opinion switching classes in 4th grade and up is pretty awesome the Front desk people don’t pay attention to the students and are always on their phones which can be very annoying but the pe teacher should get a raise because she’s awesome !! And all the other special techers are ok of the most part but the librarian she Acts like every thing is about her so I Dread going to her class . But the school has its ups and downs to me it pretty good for the most part .

The staff is fantastic! The only drawback is the number of students the school district dumps there, but there is a reason! Great school!

I have several friends and clients whos kids attended school at August Ranch Elementary. They all have nothing but good thing to say about the school, the teachers and the phenomenal community it is located in.
