Salk is an excellent school and the teachers try SO hard to give students the education they deserve and most of all NEED. The hard part is when parents do not support the teachers and school when their children need to learn manners, self control and respect before they can do their best learning. It is now teachers responsibility to teach this to a lot of the students (not all) because parents do not have time to do this. If parents send their children to get babysat, school in general will not be a good experience. If parents send their children to Salk to get a good education, then they will definitely get it!

My son just started attending Salk Elementary and has loved every minute. His teacher is great, barley any homework. She helps when its needed instead of making the kid suffer. Way better than my sons last school. :-)

Bad there are teacher that love to get in little girls arguments they are gown adults they are not like 10 and one fifth grade teacher love to get in business and try to make are kids in trouble! I am glad my grandaughter is in homeschool! Its better then that old school! 😞

I love salk elementary because my teacher Ms Mac for always bieng there for me since 1 grade and 4 grade you should go to salk it is the best school even know it gets hard some times😊😊

Had asked for my son to be moved several times. One of the worst teachers is MRS HALL who teaches fourth grade. My son would come home crying because she was the meanest teacher. The last incidence was when she was embarrassing my son because of something he did. She so called tried to make light of the situation and include the whole class in the discussion but failed to realize my son was upset and embarrassed and crying When the whole class was laughing....

I love salk because there is a best teacher name Ms.Mac

Found one great teacher, the rest are second rate at best.

My son had a friend that attended Salk. The administration was unwilling to give validation to their bullying concerns. He is now at Falcon Hill and thriving. If you have a choice, go to Falcon Hill.

It was great I was the class clown always got in trouble MR.HALL IS TRASH btw :) MR CLARK IS THE BEST he might be hard sometimes but he will always be my favorite he had my sisters and me ☺ best teacher ever

The teachers are great, the principal is a different story.

This school is the worst in the area. my neighbors and I all agree that this school is for bad kids. lice is a regular problem. I do not know much about the teachers myself but I have heard a few not so good things. There are better schools in the area,so if you can send your kid somewhere else do it.

I really like learning here!

I love this school because you can eat breakfast in the classroom and they can get out extra early release on Wednesday and you can stay in the classroom with your class when it is raining and then you can watch a movie.
