I have no experience with this particular dojo ,I just have a number of years of experience in authentic Okinawan Karate and Kobudo ..That being stated anyone claiming the rank “Juni-Dan (12th Dan ) and the title “Soke “needs to be avoided ..There are not even any so-called “12th Dan “rank holders on Okinawa,or mainland Japan..And the title “Soke “is rarely even used in Okinawa/Japan ..Judging from several of the YouTube videos up loaded the “Grandmaster “has poor technique in his performance of Kata ..The sheer fact the “GM”looks far too young to be even ranked at 10th Dan ..

Excellent school with hall of fame grandmaster. Very friendly students and essentially all adults with a couple of families with kids. Enjoyed every second of my class!!!

Amazing Dojo with practical application and a lot of people who want to help each other succeed.

Snobby and disrespectful. Dont expect the instructor to give you the time of day if youre not already a karate expert.

Excellent instruction in the traditional Okinawan martial arts! Soke Dan Hausel is very knowledgeable in the martial arts, and an able instructor. Empty hand training and training with a variety of weapons enable students to learn to use weapons as an extension of the body. Students learn katas, and are also taught bunkai, or practical applications, of the techniques in the katas. Men, women, teens, and children are encouraged to learn and develop to the best of their abilities.
