This place is amazing! My son has been coming here for about 6 months, he just turned three a month ago. I am beyond amazed on how much they have taught him. My son can count to 20, identify every letter, and knows the basic colors. The staff here is outstanding. I always get daily if not weekly updates on how my son is doing, and what he is excelling/ struggling with. I highly would recommend Dobson Montessori to everyone!

We have a 3 year old son who has been home with me, his mother, his entire life. We are in the very beginning stages of finding the right school/facility for him to thrive in. I was told a Montessori school would be a great start to his social life....we set up an appointment with this location...what Im about to write is for your information only.I sat and talked with Michael, the director, for about an hour while my son explored their environment. Michael assured me that they work extra with energetic children, (which my son happens to be.) Michael explained to me that they have a wide variety of children and they all were a bit rough around the edges before starting there. Michael also said the staff is well trained to mold these little ones to suit any classroom. By the end of that hour, he had presented me with all the necessary paperwork needed to enroll him for the summer program and for their up-coming academic year. We were so thrilled and excited for our sons new adventure!A couple of days later, I received a phone call from Michael informing me that my son will NOT be a good fit for their community. When I asked why, what changed, this is what he said....I just changed my mind. Your son is too active for us to handle. He claimed that he came to this conclusion based off of that short one hour interview and from what I had said about Odins active behavior. They never gave our son a chance!By using a method of teaching that allows children to be who they are and for working closely with all kinds of children to help shape their behavior for the better, they judged my son, me and us as a family way before given a chance to thrive. Now, I have teacher friends. They informed me that it could take little ones up to 6mos to even an entire year to show improvement inside a classroom, especially for those fortunate stay at home kids.My son had an one hour interview then got the boot!A man, who also works for this family owned school, by the name of Trevor also assured me that they would help us transition our boy into the social world and helped me get in contact with Michael. Trevor seemed so sure, confident, and kind after speaking with me on the phone. He made me feel welcomed, which is why I proceeded forward. In the 34 years on this planet, I have never met people like this before. We are shocked and are left wondering how people could be that judgemental. We feel discriminated. We feel as if they took one look at us and said, Nope, they wont belong. They also made us feel like there was something wrong with our son.Our son is currently being seen by child behavioral therapist and according to her, our son is a normal and healthy 3 year old. She said active is good!In the end, Im so very pleased that our son is not going to be apart of what seems like a very specific kind of cult.Proceed at your own risk!

Its an amazing school, great teachers and curriculum. My experience paying almost $10k for tuition for my son wasnt the best. I felt the leadership gave up on him. He wasnt doing well with focusing which is normal for a 2nd grader but did well in class. Once they determined (before he was diagnosed) he was ADHD they felt that his help was passed their ability. They gave up on communication and basically told us that he wasnt eligible back. Suzanne, the woman in charge, comes off as very arrogant. I think shes not used to dealing with children of different ethnicities because she made my son very uncomfortable and he felt she wasnt approachable. Anyway great school its just my personal experience wasnt great.....
