My kids go here and we are very happy with the school. They are strict and place a lot of importance on learning. This has helped my children to excel and have great learning habits to build on for the future. They do not do a lot of fun things throughout the school year, so you will not see crazy hair day or pajama day here, but they still do carnivals and track and field. The staff is competent, friendly, helpful and intelligent. I am there a lot and they are always welcoming. This school is tough and will require a parent who is actively involved in the education of their child. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great school. As a side note... I saw on here that it was posted that if you are not Mormon you are discriminated against... We are not Mormon and I have never felt that way or had any experience to that effect (just in case that is a worry).

Franklin Schools were so great back when they were truly back-to-basics. With the onset of standardized testing they have been leaders in teaching to the test, and even piloting the disaster that we know as the Common Core Curriculum Standards. The pressure that is put on kids at such a young age is completely inappropriate and crushes the love of learning and ability to think beyond the mark.The people there are great, and doing their best, but this school is part of broken system jumping into horrible new curriculum directions with both feet.

It is a good school ,but it is not the best. One of the classes is so rude that the teacher cant control the students. The cafeteria food is disgusting, said my daughter. Her knowlege has surprised her uncle and brother. Like I said not the best but not the greatest.

I appreciate the structure and advanced teaching that this school puts forth for my child.

HORRIBLE THEY ARE HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY THE FIFTH GRADE TEACHERS THEY ARE SO RUDE AND WILL MAKE YOUR CHILD CRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND THEY MAKE THE KIDS WEAR PANTS IN THE SUMMER THEY SHOULD LET THEM WEAR SHORTS!!!!!!!!!!! SEND YOUR KIDS TO HARRIS ELEMENTARY AND BE SMART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA
