I have taken dance here for 8 years and it’s the only place I would want to go! The learning environment is so fun and free. The teachers are so sweet and never tear down their dancers. Musical Theatre is an amazing class at MDT and id highly recommend that class to everyone! This dancing school is more then just classes and teachers, it’s a home and a family too! Happy season 20!!!

MDT, Jaune, and her instructors are incredible. My child loves going to class every week. I feel secure having my child attend classes knowing that they are strict with health and pick up protocols and secure that they offer my child a safe space to have fun and learn.

All three of my daughters dance at Metropolitan. The personalized attention and the constant positive affirmations they receive have instilled immense confidence and an absolute joy in their dancing. Not only is Mrs. Jaune a phenomenal role model, but everyone else on her staff is as well. All the teachers are kind, patient, and warm to each girl who walks in the door. I cannot imagine my girls taking dance anywhere else and excelling as they have. Metropolitan is like a family. I feel honored to be a part of it!

I danced at MDT for about 15 years, and I loved every second of it. The entire staff is kind, welcoming, and excellent at teaching their students not just how to dance, but how to perform, giving each student a passion for dance that will carry on long after they have graduated. I would highly recommend this studio to all dancers, whether they are just starting out in the young performer division or looking to master their technique and performance in the senior division!

Metropolitan Dance Theatre I s top notch. I danced at MDT for over 10 years and the dedication and talent this studio offers is awesome and exciting. Every year the recital is a showstopper and to watch everyone grow in class year round is a amazing. Jauné has created a positive, supportive environment where every student is encouraged to shine. Her infectious love of dance is evident in every class, as well as in her former students, many of whom continue to dance either professionally or recreationally long after graduating and moving on. There are lots of studios in New Orleans where you can learn to dance, but if you want to learn to really PERFORM, Metropolitan is the place to be.

The teachers and staff are absolutely incredible. I’ve never been to a more welcoming and loving dance studio. The classes are full of new music and amazing choreography for students of any age and level. Also, these students are taught to not only just dance, but PERFORM, something I find unique to MDTNO.

Metropolitan made me into the confident dancer I am today. Mrs. Jaune and the dance instructors are encouraging, kind, and talented, and give personal attention to each of the dancers in the class. It is a positive community of people that encourage talents and a love of dance through positive feedback. I have been to several studios and have not found an environment as wonderful as MDTNO. I found my family there!

So many factors went into finding the right dance school for our family. At Metropolitan Dance Theatre there is a great balance between technique and fun that keeps my little one learning and engaged. We appreciate that classes and costumes are age appropriate.
