My daughter has been taking riding lessons at Brighton Meadows for a while now. She has been in a small group and also one on one. Both experiences have been excellent. She looks forward to going each week and is making a lot of progress. The instructors are kind, knowledgeable and communicative. I also love that the lessons are an hour long instead of 30 min like a lot of other barns. Lessons at Brighton Meadow are a tremendous value!

My 8 year old has been taking lessons from Emma for almost a year. The horses are well trained and gentle. Emma is patient and calm and makes my daughter feel at ease while riding and grooming. It’s been the best experience. There is space for trail rides and sometimes they see foxes running around. It’s the highlight of my daughters week.

My son loves Brighton Meadows! He have been riding here almost one year since last summer camp. He cannot wait every lesson and very very happy after. The people and horses are very nice and his instructor is amazing! He enjoyed everything here, not only riding but also about horsemanship and so much more!

First of all, let me just tell you how much I value the instructor, Eileen! My daughter started weekly lessons last Summer and everything was going well! There were 2-4 kids at each lesson. Then my daughter fell off of a horse (it happens!) and she freaked out. She did NOT want to return, let alone get back on a horse. Eileen bent over backwards to make it work for Sammy to continue going every week. Their focus (just Sammy and Eileen at the lessons) became horsemanship. Eileen never forced Sammy or pressured her to do anything. But what she did do was to provide a safe environment for my daughter to continue being with horses, to learn, to build back her trust with them, to build back up my daughters self esteem and her love of horses. Eileen built a friendship with Sammy over all these months and Sammy learned SO much about each horse: their personalities, their quirks, how to care for them and how to work with them on things they struggled with. Is my daughter a great rider? Not really. Haha! But I kept her there with Eileen because I saw that Eileen was teaching her that there is so much more to know and love about horses than just riding. We have had several different opportunities (from present to 4 years ago) to interact with Brighton Meadows. 4 years ago my daughter did a weeklong summer camp (1/2 day) and loved it! The group was small and she learned a lot about caring for the horses and initial riding technique. She also did an all day weeklong summer camp last summer and loved it again! Great group size and much more riding. Initially, when we were setting up riding lessons, it was frustrating because the lesson coordinator just kind of left me hanging and I had to do a lot of footwork and investigating to set things up. The coordinator they have now, Emma, is SO much better to work with and the process is much better to set up lessons.I am not the best person to review if this center is amazing at creating riders. I wouldnt know. But what I do know is that my daughter has had the most positive experiences here and she will miss Eileen, Charlotte and Emma SO much (she is taking a break to focus on Dance). If she chooses to return to horse lessons, I would not hesitate at all to contact Brighton Meadows again.

Brighton Meadows is by far the best equestrian experience you will have. The land is beautiful and the those who work there genuinely care about the quality, safety, and positive experience that the kids have. The lessons are are amazing. The owners are the cutest, most sweetest ladies on the planet and have 40+ years with horses. BMEC is organized and employs some of the most dedicated and upbeat people Ive ever met! Definitely come and check it out, you will have an amazing time!

My daughter has loved working with her instructor at Brighton Meadows. Everyone she has interacted with is great. She has learned to ride as well as care for the horses, which has been a lot of fun. Plus you cant beat the convenient in-town location.

Brighton Meadows is a great place to learn horsemanship. You connect with the mustangs and learn patience, kindness, empathy, and how to learn from mistakes. If you take lessons and stick with it you will grow into a great rider. I have ridden with Brighton meadow for almost 5 years now and I have really gotten to know the horses and learned to care for them. The owners, Marsha and Mary Lee, are smart and are excellent horsewomen. They support and help people grow in ways you can’t learn from just anyone. I love Brighton Meadows and think everyone can benefit from going here if you stick with it or even just come for a few weeks!

Bmec is a great place to learn horsemanship! The care about safety and your well being! The summer camps teach you about taking care of the horses and learn the basics of English riding. I have learned so much not only from my lessons but from the from the owners, about horses and riding! You get so many great experiences here! I would never leave! The owners are very nice and respectful. They own Beautiful Horses and land! They have two great arenas and a beautiful pasture! I hope that other family’s get to enjoy this as much as me!

The worst experience ever! Registered my kids for a week long summer camp and it was six hours a day. Kids did a lot of cleaning horses and grooming horses but not actually riding. In the two days they were there maybe 10 min. The owner basically told me my kids were lying about how much they were riding so I asked for my money back and did not go back. This place is poorly run and the owner could care less. And that so called “fake “ review well I hate to break it to them but this camp IS run by kids with hardly any adult supervision

Brighton Meadows is an excellent place to learn horsemanship and riding skills. Our daughter has been riding at Brighton Meadows for many years and the skills she has acquired have not only made her a great rider, but have given her confidence and a great work ethic.

This place is so bad! They have kids working here and not adults, the stables are horrible and keep the horses in there for a long time. I fell of of a horse here because the horses they have are not trained. I have fallen off of horses before but that was my own fault, but here it was the horses. I would not recommend this for anyone, not kids or adults. People get seriously injured here. All they do is lead you around a pen for 30 mins and you dont even learn anything. I would recommend rose ranch or Alta hills, they have so much more than this place and great trainers. I stopped riding for 2 years because of this place and I finally picked it back up because of rose ranch.
