We barely have any time to talk during lunch because the staff would make us wait around 15 minutes to talk, its incredibly stupid. Lunch should be an opportunity for us to communicate with each other, the staff is WAY too strict.

I was a student here at Best before I switched to FAIR, And Id like to say it wasnt really the best experience in my opinion. Most the time the teachers have to raise their hand every now and then to attempt to get students attention and it never works. Although I met my bestie there I didnt like it academically and socially, I think the school needs more improvement in academics, Since I didnt have a problem with social skills really.

Good school but there spring break is too early than Minneapolis public schools as a family can not have vacations. I will move my kids if they dont change calendar for right season. Can not have spring break while is snowing outside

I worked security last summer for Best Academy. Id have to say I was blown away by how much the teachers cared for their students. Mrs. Fauntu (ok I probably butchered her name here) was stern but somehow conveyed what she expected from students in a way that was not intimidating but showed she truly cared and wanted to have fun and prepare her students for the future. All the staff, cook crew, bus drivers, and maintenance were awesome to work with and treated me (although a temp) like a part of their team and family. I even learned from the one of the teachers how to talk to kids who are going through a tough time to help calm them down. A lesson I hope to carry on with my own kids someday :). I had just moved to the big city from a small town and was at a point in my life when I didnt have a lot of meaning or purpose, working at Best Academy gave me some purpose again. I hope they are all doing well especially the kids I got to talk to and learn from. Much love best academy and keep truckin! Have a good new school year.

Worst school to send your kids, very unprofessional and the 3rd party bus companies ditch stops! My son missed a month of school do to them sending the wrong start date via@USPS smh highly disappointed in this school system!
