Took tour, heard all great things, but it totally depends on teacher you get...not the school philosophy, but class by class. Some excellent, some not on board with individual needs of kids at all...and forget about them understanding the autistic brain...

They offer recess and there are some nice teachers that will help you and act very nice if you are hurt. But when you accidentally ignore them or something. Heh, get ready to have one of the worst experiences. Some teachers even record students behavior to break their brains with pain and to send it to their parents. And the design of the school is kinda meh. Update: there are some intimidating staff! Which Causes Mental Pain!

My boys just started this year and I totally amazed at all the support I’ve been given. It’s been getting threw COVID much more bearable. Thank you spero for making my boys feel so comfortable and willing to learn!

This is an amazing tuition free public school specializing in kids with autism and other special needs. My daughter has been a student for two years and I have been thrilled with the approach that they take to providing an individualized education which includes OT, music therapy, speech and other services. The staff and leadership are fantastic. Couldnt recommend more highly.

Ive been working with Spero Academy for some time now and I continue to be amazed at the teachers and staff. Their care for the students here at Spero is unlike any I have ever encountered. I cant believe that Spero is tuition-free! If youre looking for a school to send your child you wont find any place better than Spero. I encourage you to take a look at the website or call in for a tour, you wont be disappointed!

My son has made so much progress here in the past 3 years. I am grateful that he was able to attend this school!

My daughter has had an amazing 3 year experience at this school. She was lost in a traditional school with oversized classes. Academically, in 3 years she has grown tremendously in all of the areas she struggled in before Spero. Her mood and self esteem has also improved a great deal. If your child needs any extra support at school I highly suggest that you atleast tour Spero Academy and meet staff at this amazing school. My daughter told me that it was too hard to pick a favorite teacher or staff member because they were all so great. She also said Mom, there is no such thing as a bully at Spero Academy. I am only sad to say that Spero only goes up to 6th grade currently.

Some of the FT staff act weird toward substitutes from Teachers on Call. The last time I went there, one of the FT guys working there was rude to me. It will be the last time I work there, with so many other schools to choose from, go elsewhere!

I love working here and with the awesome students that we have!
