Currently enrolled at this college and i like it so far; It is located at a pivotal point in the city, accessible to metro lines as well. Besides studies, i enjoy the great view or the noise from the cars on the highway too. It just depends on where my mind wants to travel to. 😂

Currently in the Automotive program and beyond grateful to be at Dunwoody. Dunwoody has already changed my life and its only fall semester. In my honest opinion if you are seeking a top notch school Dunwoody has you covered. Aside from being a father (which will always be number one) attending Dunwoody was the best strategic decision Ive made.Thank you for letting me share my experience so far.

This place forever changed my life. I thrived in the small class sizes and hands on approach to labs. Dunwoody has close ties to industry professionals that help shape and guide the curriculum. I highly recommend this school. Keep in mind it is private, not-for-profit, and entirely tuition driven, so staff and faculty are very dedicated to student success.

Be aware that the cost of tuition here is almost four times as much as what you would pay at any of the nearby public technical colleges. Most importantly, you should first check with employers in the field youre interested in to find out which schools they prefer. There are several majors where other nearby schools are considered to be a better option.

I went to the U for a number of years and I can tell you that Dunwoody is a much better learning environment. The instructors and administration actually WANT you to succeed and you get a strong sense of that. I am halfway through my Mechanical Engineering degree and Ive already learned more than some of my other friends did at a Big 12 university.

The staff at this college is absolutely phenomenal (or at least the staff I have met this far). They went out of their way to help me in a situation I didnt ever think would have a resolution. In addition, this school proves you dont need a 4 year degree to get an amazing job as most of their degree programs are 2 years, yet they still retain an amazing job placement rate.

Great school. If you want a good education and a job that you can live off of, look no further because Dunwoody is the school for you. Trust me, because when I was at Dunwoody I entered a program without knowing nothing about it and got myself a well paying job within a year into the program. But, be aware, VERY expensive.

Unprofessional, plus the cost will be a lot more foe your degree here compared to other colleges. IT department is lacking and is not up to date. Make sure whatever career you pick they like to see your education done here, IT jobs seemed to favor MCTC over Dunwoody.

This place didnt accept my GI bill chapter 33. (Full benefits.) Just the chapter 30 which means you have to take out $30000 in loans and will have to be in debt WHEN U GET OUT - which every soldier really needs after serving in 2 foreign wars. Thank you Dunwoody!!. Save your future and go to Hennepin Tech. Its funny that Frank Claude the teacher makes fun of this school(Hennepin TECH) but Ive met Robotics and Maintenance mechanics that graduated from there that were very well educated. Save your money and your future Military vets and stay away from here.

I am currently a student and i love it. Everyone is very friendly and you get teachers who love their jobs. They are helpful and willing to work with you after hours. I went to st.paul college before which was totally the opposite experience.

They promised me a great HVAC career, 30k later now Im an apprentice electrician and my school is paid for.Its a for profit college, if you want to get into a trade, I work with a lot of people that went to MCTC, or pretty much any public trade school.Dont waste your time or money.

I did 4 semesters here the 1st being generals. I did very well until my 2nd technical semester (3rd semester) for computer networking. The teachers did not seem to want to teach. I suffer from ADHD and have trouble learning without it being hands on work. The 2nd technical semester classes were basically go online and do repetitive Cisco sheets while the teachers would go to lunch or go have cigarettes. The thing that stung the most is all of those classes were 1 to 2 hours and cost about $4200 a piece. So for your teachers to not even teach while you pay well over 4 grand for the class was a complete joke. You are only paying for the name at this school you will get the same education if not a better one at a cheaper technical college and if you have a learning disability you will feel a huge level of bias towards you from the teachers and the department heads. Look into other technical schools before going here because you will pay four times more then everyone else for the same education.

Before choosing to further my education, I researched the number of graduates who received jobs coming out of all Technical Schools in the Mpls/StPaul area. Dunwoody had many programs that were in-line with my career interests and where the hiring rate was in the 90th percentile! Most of the other schools that I contacted either didnt have record of their students after graduation, or were down below the 60th percentile.I chose Dunwoody and they exceeded my expectations. I learned by aid of some of the smartest, positive, and most encouraging teachers Ive ever met and as a graduate of the Automation and Robotics department, I got to participate in assignments and activities that make me stand out to employers. Additionally, the Automation and Robotics Department has built excellent relationships with employers in industry and they were able to connect me with an Internship at the Dow Chemical Company in Edina, MN.
