My son and I started training at Port City Combat Sports in the beginning of 2021. I have nothing but great things to say about this gym. From my first training session I was welcomed by all. I received excellent technical training in every class I’ve attended. The atmosphere is friendly and very professional. After class you have a sense of accomplishment. We have a long road ahead of us but I will personally say I’ve never experienced a more humbling process! I would recommend PCCS to anyone looking to advance their martial arts journey.

This gym and MMA have changed my life and taught me so much. I enjoy training with others and learning from my coaches who are always willing to teach us and work with us. We definitely put hard work in when were training. The most welcoming factor for me when I first started back in July of 2020 was how willing and persistent everyone was in regards to helping and showing the new guy technique. My boys have been with Port City for 2 years. Every class they learn something new and ways to improve upon things they already knew. The Coaches are amazing and strive to have a personal bond with each kid that steps on the mat. Having a great coaching staff is so important but it doesnt stop there, so many of the adults who train there never hesitate to step on the mat and help out or work out something with the kids. I cant tell you the confidence and strength training at Port City MMA has introduced into my kids lives. If the thought has ever crossed your mind to sign your kids or even yourself up for MMA, you wont regret being apart of the Port City MMA family.

If you are looking for a workout solution with an electric environment full of active energy then Port City Kickboxing is the place for you. They offer a variety of classes that can suit virtually any persons interest and ability level. When considering the price of the classes in light of receiving 4 classes a month, the monthly price is revealed to be a great value. I would encourage any looking for a challenge or a means to get into better shape to seriously consider Port City Kickboxing because it has to be the most invigorating and fulfilling workout to be found in Mobile.

I joined port city 9 years ago. I was terrified to walk in the door because it is intimidating to start something new especially martial arts. I am so happy I did and couldnt recommend this place enough for anyone of any age, background, or fitness level. This place quite literally changed my life and the people here have become my family. Whether you are looking for a good workout or self defense classes or childrens classes they have it all! Definitely come by and give them a try!

Realized I’ve never actually reviewed the gym.. Been training here around a decade since high school. Aside from my actual family, Port City MMA has had the most positive influence on my life. If you are looking to get in shape, learn a valuable skill, surround yourself and/or your kids with great influences, etc. this is the place for you.

Great gym with a variety of disciplines. Coaches are fantastic. Very welcoming and open to all ages and levels. Go check out some classes or take your kids so they can check it out. Youd be surprised at how much you might enjoy it.

My son has been taking Jiu Jitzu classes for a little over a year now and he loves it. The coaches are so knowledgable and friendly. He as learned so much in such a short time. If your child struggles with other sports and you want them to stay active, this is the place to go. They also have an adult class and offer other types of classes besides Jiu Jitzu.

PCMMA is a family. The instructors are personable, well-rounded and easily the best teachers in Mobile. Ive personally learned more about myself and about Jiu Jitsu than I ever thought possible in just 9 months. I have fallen in love with the sport, not just because of the art itself, but because of the people I learn from on a daily basis through this gym.
