Great teachers and staff who has patience and works with you no matter your learning speed. Fun environment to learn and feel comfortable. This school does whatever they can to make sure you graduate and feel confident in your skill. 10/10 recommend

Everyone @ Alabama Pipe Welders Academy is very friendly & goes out of their way to make sure that you are able to work on the things you need to work on. As a former student I couldnt recommend this place enough. Youll get more hood time here and welding practice than any other school around. The instructors are awesome and very helpful, shoutout to Rodrick and Jacob. The guys at APWA take the time to correct any issues you have, work on techniques, etc etc. If you want to learn to weld, you owe yourself to go here.

This is a small school that isnt over crowded with students. They have great instructors that are always there for any questions you may have and eager to help you. You get your money worth no questions asked. They will also work with you financially. You leave this school with plenty of knowledge and a great experience.

Alabama Pipe Welders Academy is a awesome Trade Academy! They do Finance, so if you need help. It is there. Which helped me alot with school, work, and bills. You have 3 amazing instructors! They all have different ways of TIG welding but only one motive. And the motive is to train you to be the best TIG welder in the world. 5 hours a day, 5 days a week of all hands on TIG pipe welding. These men dont play with plates. Your first day of TIG is going to be on a real pipe. Because who TIG plate in the REAL World? No one. All your studies and bookworks are at home. So all your time at the Academy are hands on. Im sure glad Id chose Alabama Pipe Welders Academy over other Trade schools. If I didnt, I wouldnt be 6G certified in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Copper Nickel. I’ve went to 4 different welding schools and this one is Hands down one of the best welding schools in the country! Coupons are already cut and beveled for you and every student gets a tungsten Sharpener which saves you a butt load of time! There’s always 5 or more instructors in there that work in the field when they’re not teaching and each one with different techniques to make you a well rounded welder. After I left the school the very next day I had 4 weld test that landed me a $35 an hour job in norco which I left after 2 months for a job for $40 an hour + double time. Couldn’t have done it without these guys!

The Best in town!! Where else can you get 3 instructors to 5 students. They are Family owned and operated and will work with you on financial terms. We were Welding on pipe our first day of class and 6G certification in only 6 weeks.. I really loved the practical tests they really prepared me for the real world. Awesome School

Came straight out of the school and tested in at 3 different fab shops. Passed X-Ray on all 3 Weld tests. If your looking for a place to get your moneys worth. This is the place. First day. Hes got you welding on pipe. This man does not mess around, hes not going to waste your time and money with you sitting in a classroom or welding on plate. This is truly a one of kind, family owned welding School. quality over quantity
